‘Baluch & Sunnis  of Iran acquitted from Wahhabism, separatism and sectarianism’
new-molanaBALUCHISTAN: Shaikh Abdul Hamid criticized sectarian and ethnic discrimination practices on Baluch people and Sunni community in Iran. Shaikh was talking to a ceremony in the southern region of Sistan-Baluchistan province.

He criticized the accusations of “Wahhabism,” which is drawn by some elements to impose other charges to the Sunnis and more he said, “Wahhabism is a label which is not consistent with the Sunnis in Iran, and this allegation to the Sunnis of Iran glued by some Shiite extremists and opportunists.”
Talking about the Baluch people that they are accused by “separatism” and “sectarian”, Shaikh Abdul Hameed added: “Baluch people and the Sunni community are committed to Islam, they love their motherland, and they prefer the Islamic government which avoids away from religious sectarianism to any type of government.”
The head of Darululoom Zahedan continued his speech, saying that”Baluch nation and Sunni community in Iran have been facing humiliation and various kinds of discrimination in different departments for a long time. The bone of contention which causes these problems is the narrow mind of the officials and their partial rule regarding different sects of the country.
Still the Sunni community kept quite in order to save national unity. But It is the time that the state must expand her outlook to all sects and nations and realize the Baluch people particularly and Sunnis in general.”
