The most influential Iranian Sunni scholar expressed his happiness on the victory of Taliban in the recent peace talks and called withdrawal of foreign occupying forces the demand and desire of all Muslims and free-minded people.

Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan called imitation of the Qur’an and Sunnah the only way of salvation. He expressed his regret over increasing number of divorces in the country and urged on removing the ways lead to divorce.

Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan termed “housing people and all citizens” the responsibility of governments and the state and urged on paying attention to this issue.

Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan said that calmness cannot be achieved by facilities and equipment, rather faith, repentance and seeking Allah’s forgiveness, patience and offering prayers, piety and imitation of the straight path can bring calmness and peace.

The interim Friday Imam of Sunnis in Zahedan pointed out to the destructive effects of sins in life and urged on avoiding from misdeeds.

Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan called on the audience to make serious efforts in producing Halal jobs and earning legal livelihood.

Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said in his sermon of Dec. 7, 2018 that “seeking God” and need to Him as well as imitation of Islam are the only channels towards Allah.

Shaikh Abdol-Hamid urged on “making efforts to get prosperity in the endless life” in the sermon of Nov. 30 and called on “supporting Islamic seminaries financially”, “sitting with broken-hearts” and “take the advantage of life’s opportunities”.

Alluding to the emphases of the Qur’an and Sunnah on maintaining Muslim Ummah’s unity, Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan advised provincial and national officials and directors as well as seminaries to strive for exerting “practical unity”.

Shaikh Abdol-Hamid termed the birth of the last prophet, peace be upon him, the greatest blessing event in human history who brought the messages of unity, fraternity, guidance and equality.
