Thousands of people have held anti-US demonstrations across Pakistan to protest an American court’s verdict against a female Pakistani scientist.

KABUL: Reports arriving from Gardez city say that on Friday afternoon, at around 12:30 pm, 10 Afghan Taliban entered in a US invaders base located on Gardez-Khost main highway.

MOGADISHU: Somalia’s al-Qaeda-inspired Shabab militants launched a fresh offensive in Mogadishu Thursday, sparking clashes that killed at least 19 civilians, medics and witnesses said.
