    Pakistani authorities have arrested two senior police officers for negligence of duty over former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto’s assassination. Almost three years after Bhutto was killed in the city of Rawalpindi, Saud Aziz, city police chief at the time and Khurram Shahzad, a senior policeman, were arrested on Wednesday for their failure to protect Bhutto.

  • Attacks kill dozens Afghan, NATO forces

    At least 19 members of Afghanistan’s security forces have been killed in an attack on an army recruitment center in the north of the war-ravaged country. Local officials in the northern Kunduz province say four attackers stormed the recruitment facility early on Sunday and at least one of them was able to detonate his explosives.
