Iran: Khateeb of Sunnis in Sanandaj Passes Away

Mamousta Hesamuddin Mojtahedi, Khateeb and Friday Imam of Sunnis in Sanandaj, Iranian Kurdistan, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2014 in Tehran.

“SunniOnline” quoted the official news agency, IRNA, Mamousta Mojtahedi was admitted to hospital on April 14 due to low blood pressure and carnage in stomach.

The Sunni scholar got his health back in his hometown but then shifted to the Iranian capital for completing treatment. He passed away after a surgery operation in stomach.

Mojtahedi was about 93. He was appointed as Friday Imam of Sanandaj ten years ago. He was working as the representative of Kurdistan in the Assembly Experts of the Leadership since 2011.

“SunniOnline” team supplicates to Allah Almighty forgiveness of Mamousta Hesamuddin Mojtahedi expressing condolence to his family, Ulama and all masses in Kurdistan.
