Mama Qadeer thanked the Karachi Press Club, Baloch and Sindhi nationalists and people of Lyari for their moral support and physical presence to welcome them. Mama, who took an initiate of Long March, alleged the officers of secret intelligence agencies and other officers of the government have threatened him to call off the plan of Long March otherwise be ready to face the consequences.
Besides the Balochistan government of Dr Malik Baloch, he was also offered a blank cheque and other perks in return of shelving the struggle of Long March. He lambasted the provincial government that it was offering him to sell the motherland and dead bodies of the martyrs.
He further said he escaped three attacks on his life during the journey of Long March. He will unveil the details and disclose the names who made offers to him to call off the plan. “We want recovery of our loved ones.”
Qadeer Baloch, who set up hunger strike camp outside the Karachi Press Club for about two years for the recovery of missing Baloch persons, said under a pre-planned conspiracy mutilated dead bodies of Baloch missing political workers were being dumped. The situation remains the same during the present provincial government of Dr Malik Baloch. He censured the Balochistan CM over his remarks about the Long March as the seasonal march. Qadeer appealed to the United Nations to break its silence on the issue of missing persons.
He announced to initiate another phase of struggle on foot towards Islamabad or the United Nations. He said that despite the order of the Supreme Court, the abducted persons were not being released by the LEAs.
