Utilize Sistan-Baluchistan’s Potentials for Reducing Unemployment

Shaikh Abdol-Hamid alluded to the various potentials of Sistan-Baluchistan of Iran in the valedictory and introduction meeting of the ex and new governor of the province on Wednesday 8th Nov. 2017. He said these potentials should be utilized for creation of new jobs.
The official website of Shaikh Abdol-Hamid reported that he had termed the people of Sistan-Baluchistan fond of “Islam” and their “country”.
The most influential Iranian Sunni leader addressed the interior minister of Iran and said: “The people of Sistan-Baluchistan suffer from two big problems of “poverty” and “unemployment” more than others in the country.”
He urged on reopening of the border crossings and activation of Sistan-Baluchistan’s potentials.
“The borders are not only threats to the country, rather they are opportunities and advantages for all. We ensure the authorities to be sure about the security and stability. By reactivation of trade at borders security will be boosted,” he added more.
Khateeb and Friday imam of Sunnis in Zahedan called on the government to allocate a “particular budget” for Sistan-Baluchistan as it is the poorest and most undeveloped province of Iran.
He termed Eng. Ali Hashemi, the ex-governor of Sistan-Baluchistan one of the “successful” and “smart” directors of the country.
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid asked the interior minister to convey greetings of the people of Sistan-Baluchistan to president Rouhani and the rest statesmen and inform them about the problems of this vast province.
