Provoking Sectarian Issues, Haram

Urging on avoidance from disputes, the prominent Islamic scholar termed provoking sectarian issues ‘Haram and illegal’ in an international conference held in Yazd, Iran on Tuesday 24th May, 2016.
The official website of the office of Shaikh Abdol-Hamid Isma’eelzahi reported, he began his sermon by the recitation of the Noble verse of the Qur’an: “إِنَّ هَذِهِ أُمَّتُكُمْ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً وَأَنَا رَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُونِ” and said, “Islam is the last divine religion that is the religion of nature, peace, friendship, kindness and guidance towards the excellences.”
Talking in the inauguration ceremony of the 7th World Islamic Forum, held under the title of ‘Strategic Communication: Reference Values, Institutions, Persons’, the rector of Darululoom Zahedan said, “It is a big cruelty to introduce Islam a hard and violent religion to the world. Islam is the not the religion of violence and assaulting on others, rather it is the religion of peace and dialogue. All thoughts, including non-Islamic thoughts are tolerable in Islam. There is no force and compulsion in Islam; “لا إکراه في الدین”. The leader of this religion, the Prophet Mohammad PBUH, was dispatched as a ‘mercy’ for the entire world.”

Jihad has particular conditions & rulings
Criticizing misconceptions over the word of Jihad, Khateeb and Friday Imam of Sunnis in Zahedan said, “There are some particular conditions and regulations for Jihad in Islam. Unfortunately, many people misuse the word of Jihad. Islamic jihad is against illogic elements that refuse dialogue and sobriety, they avoid from peace and justice and occupy lands and carry out unjust acts.”
“The extremist Zionists have been occupying Palestine for more than 60 years; they are not ready to listen to anyone and reconcile implementing justice. Jihad is against such elements and people who are not ready to sit around the table of negotiation,” he added more.

Followers of Muslim sects must hold common points
Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid urged on the holding common points and tenets, saying, “I think the best solution for problems in any circumstance is to hold fast the common tenets and beliefs. Shia and Sunni, as two big Islamic sects, have lots of common tenets and points while their differences are less.”
“Muslims of all sects should act upon their juridical thoughts and Islam. We should preach Islam not our sect. Islam is the common point of us. I believe in the current circumstances it is illegal and Haram to provoke sectarian issues,” he added more.

Respect rights of minorities
The outstanding Iranian Sunni leader further said, “Muslims should sit together and resolve their problems by negotiation and dialogue. The rights of religious, ethnic and sectarian minorities should be recognized and respected. The dignity of them should be protected.”
“In the ongoing circumstances the relations of the Muslim leaders are so vital; unless they do not sit together, the crises in the Middle East would not be resolved. Muslims should not wait for the colonial powers to resolve their problems; they only follow up their interests by dividing Muslims,” the member of the MWL underlined.
