Sunnis should be Given Membership in Executive Committee of Majlis

Alluding to the inauguration of the 10th term of Islamic Majlis Council (parliament), Shaikh Abdol-Hamid asked for membership of at least one Sunni representative in the Executive Committee of the Majlis.
Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan said in a part of his speech of May 27, 2016 before thousands of worshipers, “It is hopeful that the new Majlis is stronger than the last one. Variety causes advancement that is visible in the new Majlis.”
“Unfortunately, disputes on political issues for the sake of particular parties were so obvious in the last term. We hope in the new term the members of the parliament will carry out their duties by foresight that fits the position of the civilized Iranian nation. They should remain away from political contentions acting in accordance with the national and international interests,” Mawlana Abdol-Hamid added more.
Calling on the utilization of the Sunni members in the Executive Committee of the parliament, he said, “We expect at least there must be a Sunni member in the Executive Committee of the tenth Majlis. It is a need for us to show the world that there is no difference between Shia and Sunni communities in the country.”
“Utilizing capable Sunnis in the cabinet, the Executive Committee of the parliament and the rest of important decision making centers makes the nation united and respectful,” the rector of Darululoom Zahedan underlined.

Mega projects of Gov. should create jobs for locals in Sistan-Baluchistan
In another part of his speech, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid pointed out to the special economic status of Free Chabahar Port and said, “Today Chabahar is not only the economic hub for Sistan-Baluchistan province, but it is going to be one of the key hubs for the economy of the entire country.”
Alluding to the recent conference of the heads of the Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA) free ports in Chabahar, the eminent Iranian Sunni scholar said, “In the recent international conference held in Chabahar, a part from the vice-president of Iran and some ministers, a number of outstanding guests from different countries also were among the participants; it was an exceptional opportunity for the region. This conference will be the start of a history for Free Chabahar Zone that will attract the attention of companies and investors more.”
“Drafting the issue of Chabahar Free Zone in the trilateral meeting of Iran, India and Afghanistan in the presence of Afghan president and Indian prime minister shows the importance of the subject. India and Afghanistan can utilize the capability of Chabahar Free Zone by investment,” he added more.
Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan went to say more, “We hope the mega projects of the government in the province of Sistan-Baluchistan, including the free zone of Chabahar, would decrease the high rate of unemployment in our province. The people of our province suffer from unemployment and poverty; those projects should produce them jobs.”

In another part of his sermon, he alluded to the death anniversary of the founder of the Islamic Revolution in Iran and called him a man who played an important role in the awakening of Muslim and non-Muslim countries against injustice, occupation and tyranny.

Pay the way for purification of your children
In the first part of his sermon, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid recited the Noble verse of the Qur’an: «يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا قُوا أَنفُسَكُمْ وَأَهْلِيكُمْ نَارًا وَقُودُهَا النَّاسُ وَالْحِجَارَةُ عَلَيْهَا مَلَائِكَةٌ غِلَاظٌ شِدَادٌ لَا يَعْصُونَ اللَّهَ مَا أَمَرَهُمْ وَيَفْعَلُونَ مَا يُؤْمَرُونَ» , (O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones, over which are [appointed] angels, harsh and severe; they do not disobey Allah in what He commands them but do what they are commanded.) and said, “Allah Almighty has warned all of us about our children, inmates and ourselves; we should protect and save them from a fire whose fuel is human beings and stones.”
The Hadith teacher at Darululoom Zahedan pointed out, “Allah Almighty has given us the responsibility of purification of ourselves and families who are wives and children. We are enjoined to pave the way for our reformation as well as our children.”
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid called on parents to take the advantage of summer vacations of the public schools and send their children to learn the Noble Qur’an and the necessary rulings of Islam as some mosques and seminaries have special classes for school children.
