Shaikh A.Hameed can’t participate Qatar conference
shaikh-abdolhameedZAHEDAN, IRAN: Due to the detention of passport of Shaikh Abdul Hameed, the eminent Sunni scholar and the chairman of Union of Sunni seminaries of Sistan-Baluchistan by the Iranian authorities respected Shaikh has cancelled his trip to Qatar where he wanted participating in the Eighth Conference of Doha Interfaith Dialogue.

According to details Doha International Center for Interfaith Dialogue in Qatar had sent a formal and official invitation to Shaikh Abdul Hameed, may God protect him, to participate in the Eighth Conference for dialogue among religions, willingly respected Shaikh had accepted it at the time to attend this important conference, but his passport was confiscated in the International Airport of Tehran after participating in the meetings of the general assembly of the International Union for Muslim Scholars in Turkey few months ago.
Continued follow-up of the case to regain the passport has been failed and in this way the government prevented his eminence practically to participate in the conference.
Worthy to mention that the Eighth Conference of interfaith dialogue has started on 19th October, Tuesday in Doha and its activities would be continued till to Thursday, 21th October.
