Shaikh Abdul Hameed, the preacher of Friday prayers for Sunnis in Zahedan condemning the bomb blasts in the last week near to a Shi’a mosque in Zahedan and said, “The last week was painful and regrettable for us, where a mosque and innocent people were targeted, a big loss of lives and money had been taken, everyone has condemned this attack. All the scholars have declared it illegitimate.”
He more added, “There is no doubt that our enemies have targeted by this attack to destroy the Muslim ummah as well as the inhabitants of Zahedan city, the attackers are known factors and every one knows that who has claimed the responsibility of the hate able attack, certainly they are extremists who wants to sow division and sectarianism among the people of the city by such acts.”
Calling on all the Sunnis and Shias, to find out the reasons of such increasing incidents the great Sunni leader more said: that this incident was a warning to all the people of “Sistan & Baluchistan” which requires everyone to study the roots of such incidents, everyone must be seated and take measures seriously and look for the ills and the main reasons of the bombings to take measures process. Each one showing his responsibilities according to his ability and capacity should tackle the extremists who want to inflict hostility and sectarian strife among the people and struggle to create insecurity conditions in the country.
Shaikh Abdul Hameed went on saying that sparking of sectarianism is the goals of our enemies, there is no sane person who has not concerned this incident which took the lives of civilians, for that this phenomenon requires the attention of the people who have been living together for decades and have joined businesses and commercial links to sit together and ponder to resolve this crisis in order to restore the security of the province, we must prove by our positive steps that the enemies are not able to disperse us, God willing.
The Grand Shaikh Abdul Hameed turned his talk to wards the points of spending money for the sake of Allah and said: “The provisions of Islamic law imposed for the reform of society and the reform of human beings.”
He added, “The best and selected creature is human, who is the mysterious and wondrous as Allah almighty says: that “I created humans in the nice shape”, and with out the religious knowledge each human is incomplete, so it is not human power to reform him self with out the God guidance. The largely expanded programs and plans set by humans do not fit and it is not suitable for repairing human beings, therefore there is need of lives having the methods and approaches made by God Almighty and which is brought by the Prophets of Allah Almighty, surely it belongs to human educational rights and their reforms.” Maulana Abdul Hameed further said that the Prophets were experts because of what Almighty Allah gifted them the knowledge and wisdom to know the human condition, they were the best creatures in the field of reorganization of the human diseases and spiritual imperfections, and they’re prudent doctors at the same time to treat these diseases in the body of human society.
In another part of his sermon Shaikh pointed out “The provisions that imposed on us in terms of Islamic law were imposed also on the previous nations with a little difference in the qualitative and quantitative. For example, Prayers were obligatory in Judaism and Christianity before Islam. Almighty Allah says in Qur’an: ” “وكان يأمر أهله بالصلاة والزكاة [And he used to enjoin on his family and his people As-Salât (the prayers) and the Zakât, and his Lord was pleased with him.]
As well as Zakat is not related exclusively to the Muslim nation, rather the previous nations were also imposed to observe fast. Besides fasting the pilgrimage (Hajj) also prescribed to those were before us.”
Declaring Zakat as one of the most important pillars of Islam, the imam of the grand Sunni mosque said, “It has been ordered to pay Zakat in the holy Qur’an seventy times along with the most important duty Sala’t (prayers). You do not find in the Book of Allah or the Sunnah of His Messenger, a worship which is more important after the unification of God but prayers and almsgiving Zakat, the Qur’an has stressed commitment to them often in multiple locations and verses.”
Referring to the reluctance of the people in prayers and their lax in the performance of Zakat the head of Jamia Darululoom Zahedan more added, “Many people have plagued in frailty about the prayers to the satisfaction of God, as well as people neglect in the payment of Zakat’s money under false pretenses. There is no doubt that inaction frailty about prayers is very dangerous; because the Sala’t is remedy of all the shortcomings that exist in other acts of worship, but if the prayer is incomplete it can not be remedied by any other worship.”
Shaikh Abdul Hameed pointed to the slag money which is not given its obligated Zakaah and said that the money which you do not pay its Zakaah or you do not spend it on the poor, widows and orphans to benefit them is known a dropped money and the least value before Allah, there is no any value for such money in fact; it can not be considered a blessing but a curse and trouble from God, and this money will be the cause for the punishment of its owner on the doomsday. As Almighty Allah says: “يَوْمَ يُحْمَى عَلَيْهَا فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ فَتُكْوَى بِهَا جِبَاهُهُمْ وَجُنُوبُهُمْ وَظُهُورُهُمْ هَذَا مَا كَنَزْتُمْ لِأَنْفُسِكُمْ فَذُوقُوا مَا كُنْتُمْ تَكْنِزُونَ”; [On the Day when that (Al-Kanz: money, gold and silver, the Zakât of which has not been paid) will be heated in the Fire of Hell and with it will be branded their foreheads, their flanks, and their backs, (and it will be said unto them):-“This is the treasure which you hoarded for yourselves. Now taste of what you used to hoard.”].
Shaikh quoted from Abud-Dardaa (Allah be pleased with him) and more added, “Money has three end; either at the dangers of many losses and corruption, or it would accompanied by death and move to the heirs. The third possibility is that the owner of money eats and spends money on himself and spares it for the Hereafter, and the most deserving of money what the people are hoard to themselves, that is better after death than not that money which only benefits us in this world.”
“This holy month of Sha’ban is the month of sponsorship and reform and it is the month of guidance. Try to perform Zakat of your money in this month. My advice to you is that do not delay it till Ramadan, we do not know when we die, so we should do good things as soon as we can and we must be resolved to pay the Zakat money,” Shaikh-ul-Islam urged.
