Tens of thousands Sunnis gathered on the conclusion of the Noble Qur’an in Taraweeh in Grand Makki Masjid at the night 29th Ramadan (July 16, 2015) in Zahedan, Iran.
According to a report of “SunniOnline”, more than 200.000 Sunni worshippers from Zahedan city and neighboring areas took part in the ceremony where they listened to sermons of Ulama.
In the first session, before Taraweeh prayers, Mawlana Abdullah Rigi and Mawlana Muhammad Usman Qalandarzehi talked to the audience. Mawlana Muhammad Usman urged ‘waseelah’ is our good deeds and we can get the pleasure of Allah by worshipping the Almighty as most of the exegetists suggest.
Shaikh-ul-Islam: Be complete Muslims
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid, Khateeb and Friday Imam of Sunnis in Zahedan mentioned faith (Iman) the biggest blessing of the Almighty for mankind. He said, “Allah could create us in the house of a Jew, or Christian or communist family, but by the blessing of Him we were born in Muslim families. It has more value than any other thing in the universe.”
He underlined nations can develop and success in the both lives by full submission before the Almighty and refusing the temptations and misguidance of Satan. He stated, “We have not been complete Muslims yet; our lives are no in accordance with Shari’ah and many of sisters and mothers do not take serious the issue of Hijab. There are some clues of the ancient ignorance in our lives.”
“The enemies have invested billions of dollars to target specially youth and women by satellite TV channels and internet. They consider sins and nudity part of their culture and civilization; thus they strive to export their satanic traditions to Muslim states.”
The rector of Darululoom Zahedan then called on Muslims to be careful about their Zakah as some people do not pay it and some others show negligence in this regard. Ramadan has trained Muslims to be true Muslims in the whole years after and before each Ramadan.
In a part of his speech, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid congratulated the nuclear agreement of Iran with the 5+1 group and thanked the negotiating team for their day and night efforts.
It is noteworthy, Huffadh lead Taraweeh prayers in hundreds of Masjids in Sistan-Baluchistan and other provinces of Iran where Sunni citizens live. The biggest gathering for the conclusion of the Qur’an is held in Grand Makki Masjid and before it, inside Azizi Masjid of Zahedan in the main market of the city.
