Ml. Abdol-Hamid Condoles Passing of Prof. Ajmal Ab. Razak

Issuing a condolence message, the president of Darululoom Zahedan expressed his deep sorrow on the sudden passing of Prof. Sayyid Ajmal Abdur Razak al-Aidrus, one of the outstanding academians in Malaysia.
The official website of Shaikh Abdol-Hamid posted the text of his condolence message which is as following:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Respectable Rector of the IIUM, Professor Dr. Zaleha Kamaruddin,
The sudden passing of the outstanding preacher and prominent professor at the International Islamic University of Malaysia, Professor Dr. Sayyid Mohamed Ajmal Abdul Razak al-Aidrus saddened me and my colleagues deeply.
The late professor provided his services to the Islamic society, especially in the US and Malaysia as many people embraced Islam due to his sincere efforts. Translation of Mathnawi into Malay language is one of the other great works of him; God willing it will be reserved for the endless life of the late prof.
Few yours ago, he had a trip to Zahedan and my colleagues benefited from him a lot. He also paid a special regard to Darululoom Zahedan and Zahedan’s people as he used to compare our society with the society of the era of the Companions, may Allah be pleaded with them.
Please accept my heartfelt condolences and I would like to express my sympathy with the respectable wife of the late Prof. Sayyid Ajmal bin Abdul Razak and his sons, students, colleagues and the rest of relatives. May Allah grant him full forgiveness and bless you with patience.
