Condolence Message of Mawlana Ab. Hamid on Mufti Ihtishamulhaq’s Assassination

Shaikh Abdol-Hamid expressed his deep sorrow on the assassination of Mufti Ihtishamulhaq Asia-Abadi and his son condoling his family, students and followers.
Mawlana Mufti Ihtishamulhaq, a prominent Islamic scholar of Balochistan, Pakistan, and his son Mawlana Shabbir-Ahmad were martyred by unknown gunmen. The incident took place in Kech district on Sunday evening, 24th July, 2016.
Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan, Iran and rector of Darululoom Zahedan wrote in his message: Assassination of innocent people is a heinous and condemned act. But the enormity of this act is double as a great Islamic scholar has been targeted.
It is so sorrowful and anguished to hear the news of the martyrdom of the prominent scholar, Mawlana Mufti Ihtishamulhaq, rector and founder of ‘Jamia Rashidiah’ Asia-Abad and his respectful son.
Mawlana Ihtishamulhaq, may Allah have mercy on him, was an outstanding researcher and considerate scholar who provided his scientific works to Pakistani society, especially to the people of Balochistan. His illuminations in different fields of thoughts and tenets guided the truth-seekers to the straight path.
I am so sorry for the loss of this great scholar expressing my condolences with the family, relatives, students and followers of Mawlana Ihtishamulhaq, may Allah have mercy on him. May the Almighty forgive the father and son, heighten their status and give their families patience and rewards.
