Iran – Zahedan: A prominent Islamic scholar in Zahedan, southeastern Iran, passed away at Friday night, 1st April, 2016 in Galougah town.
SunniOnline reported Shaikh Isma’eelzahi, the Friday imam of Galougah town in the south of Zahedan city, was suffering from asthma in his last days.
He was one of the graduates of Badr-ul-Uloom Hammadiya in Rahimyarkhan city, southern Punjab (Pakistan) in 1970s. He was one of the famous disciples of late Mawlana Abdol-Ghani Jaajrawi. The late scholar established some notable mosques and seminaries in Korin zone of Zahedan district.
His funeral prayer was offered by Shaikh Abdol-Hamid, the rector of Darululoom Zahedan, in his hometown. Hundreds of villagers and citizens from different classes of the society took part in his funeral ceremony.
