A Prominent Sunni Scholar Passes Away

IRAN – IRANSHAHR: Mawlana Abdol-Hamid Bozorgzadeh, an eminent scholar in Iranshahr city of Iranian Baluchistan, passed away today noon in his hometown.

“SunniOnline” reports Mawlana Abdol-Hamid was Hadith teacher at Haqqania Seminary in Iranshahr and Friday imam of Touba Grand Masjid of Iranshahr.
According to local sources, Shaikh Bozorgzadeh was a graduate from Jamia Islamia Banuri town of Karachi, Pakistan. He was 79.
He used to teach different Islamic texts including Hadith and Fiqh in Haqqania Seminary of Iranshahr, the central city of Baluchistan.
His funeral prayer was offered in the presence of the top Ulama of Sistan-Baluchistan.
