‘Don’t be afraid of our seminaries, mosques’

The second eloquent discourse was delivered by the prominent activist of Tabligh, Hafedh Muhammad Karim Saleh, at the 21st annual graduation ceremony of Darululoom Zahedan.

He initiated his points by recitation of the holy verses: «إِنَّ أَوَّلَ بَيْتٍ وُضِعَ لِلنَّاسِ لَلَّذِي بِبَكَّةَ مُبَارَكًا وَهُدًى لِّلْعَالَمِينَ»(The first House (of worship) appointed for men was that at Bakka: Full of blessing and of guidance for all kinds of beings) «وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن مَّنَعَ مَسَاجِدَ اللّهِ أَن يُذْكَرَ فِيهَا اسْمُهُ وَسَعَى فِي خَرَابِهَا أُوْلَئِكَ مَا كَانَ لَهُمْ أَن يَدْخُلُوهَا إِلاَّ خَآئِفِينَ لهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا خِزْيٌ وَلَهُمْ فِي الآخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ»(Who is more cruel than the one who prevents the mosques of Allah from His name being recited therein, and strives for their destruction? It was not for such men to enter them except in awe. For them there is disgrace in this world, and for them there is a mighty punishment in the other world.) And the great Hadith of Holy Prophet, peace & blessings be upon him, that states: «من بنی لله مسجدا بنی الله له بیتا فی الجنة», (Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, Allah will build a house for him in the Paradise.)

The famous scholar pointed, ‘The first center of spiritual development and divine light, Nour, is Ka’bah and Holy Qur’an is the second one. Without these two main sources of the guidance, none of human beings can get prosperity.’

Shaikh Saleh added more saying that as things are invisible unless there is light of any source, the same is case with spiritual things. People can not reach to Allah without the glory of Ka’bah and Qur’an. Through these two sources mankind can recognize his enemies like Satan. These sources teach human beings that mosques are only for Allah; only worship Him in Masajid. Do not associate anyone with Allah in worship; this is the message of Holy Qur’an.

‘The first lesson was given to Ummah by beloved Holy Prophet is: «قولوا لا إله إلا الله», Say there is no God but Allah!) Only Allah is worthy of worship. And everybody must know that the light of knowledge should cover worship of Allah, otherwise it will not be accepted. Abdur-Rahman Ibn Muljem was a great worshiper, he used to observe fast and E’tikaf and break the sawm, fast, by Zamzam water. But he was deprived from the light of knowledge, ‘Elm, as he killed the fourth caliph Ali, may Allah be pleased with him,’ he pointed more.

Hafedh M. Karim Saleh went on saying that Holy Prophet and his companions were struggling to establish mosques or to take part in building mosques. This is due to undeniable role of Masajid in spreading of Nour, guidance, piety and fraternity. Mosques are the biggest centers of felicity, peace and honor. The mosque of Holy Prophet gave such a great civilization to human being that is their need of today. So every Muslim should strive to build mosques and take part in this great job.

The activist of Tabligh, preaching Islam, put Islamic seminaries and mosques correlative saying that mosques were the places where people can purify their souls, besides circles for teaching and learning Holy Qur’an held in mosques as well.

Shaikh Saleh addressed Western people saying, ‘O European! Do not be afraid of our seminaries and mosques; they just teach peace, love, friendship and prosperity of mankind. Come towards them and worship only Allah.’
