Zahedan’s Ulama Gathered at Darululoom Zahedan

The meeting of Zahedan and its suburbs’ scholars was held on Wednesday December 11, 2019 in Darululoom Zahedan, Iran.

A number of scholars, Imams of mosques and teachers took part in the meeting of Ulama; they exchanged views on self-purification and reformation of society.

Mufti Muhammad Qasem, a senior Hadith teacher of Darululoom Zahedan called on Ulama to plan for the edification of their children and family first.

He also emphasized on reciting of the Holy Qur’an with Tajweed and cleaning of mosques for the worshipers.

The meeting ended with the thoughtful speech of Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid, president of Darululoom Zahedan who urged on internal meetings and gatherings of scholars.

Mawlana Abdol-Hamid said that “self-purification” and “reformation of society” were the purpose of the meeting.

Shaikh-ul-Islam insisted on the necessity of learning knowledge and practicing it in life. He said: “The one who knows but does not act upon his knowledge, will be questioned more hardly than the one who had less knowledge.”

Zahedan’s Ulama decided to gather monthly in their areas and all of them will meet each other after every three months as in some other districts Sunni Ulama gather and hold meetings to exchange ideas and work together.
