12th Gov. Should Remove Weaknesses of Previous Cabinet

The prominent Iranian Sunni leader expressed his hope that the upcoming government of Dr. Rouhani would remove weaknesses of his previous cabinet.
Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid was talking to the audience of the Friday prayers in Zahedan, southeastern Iran on 7th July 2017.
“Many of ‘problems’ were resolved in the 11th government, but still there are some complaints and problems and we hope these weaknesses would be removed in the new government,” he underlined.
Alluding to the expectations of the Iranian Sunni community from the upcoming government, Mawlana Abdol-Hamid said: “The Sunni community expects one of its demands since the beginning of the Revolution would be fulfilled in the new government; the capable Iranian Sunnis should have a share in the cabinet and they would be selected as ministers.”
“The Iranian Sunnis expect their capable and competent members would have chance to provide their services in higher national and provincial positions. This old demand of the Sunni community should be fulfilled.”
The Friday Imam of Sunnis shed light on the positive consequences of the possible participation of Sunnis in the Iranian cabinet and said: “It is obvious the presence of Sunnis in the cabinet and their engagement in higher national and provincial posts will leave deep effects on regional and international deals, as well as it would strengthen peace of the region and make Muslim states closer to each other.”

Banks should realize rulings of Islamic banking
The most influential Iranian Sunni scholar alluded to the presence of the managing director of “Bank Mehr Iran” in the Friday gathering of Sunnis in Zahedan and said: “Bank Mehr Iran has succeeded to provide interest-free loan to people.”
He said: “We recommend all banks to experience and realize the rulings and codes of Islamic banking. They would see the support of people and the Almighty surely. Islamic banking system has been more productive and useful according to the experiences.”
