Zahedan: Ban on Hortatory Ceremony of Baluch Students

ZAHEDAN- The provincial officials of ‘Sistan-Baluchitan’ have not permitted the Baluch activists in universities of Zahedan to hold their annual ceremony in honor of new Baluch graduates.
Some active academies in universities of Zahedan and the province have been holding ceremonies in honor of new graduates at the end of each educational year. But due to forbiddance by the related authorities, their function will not be held this year.
‘SunniOnline’ has learnt that after lots of insistence and efforts by the holders of the ceremony, the officials conditioned their permission with absence of Islamic scholars of Darululoom Zahedan which runs under principalship of Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdul Hameed. The activists compelled to accept the surprising condition; despite it, the officials have denied to give them permission!
It is worthy to mention that Baluch activists hold such functions to explain the importance of knowledge and science in Islam, to cheer students and encourage the graduates to get higher education.
Professors, teachers, graduates and their family members have been participating the hortative ceremonies.
