Sheikh Abdul Hameed, Imam and Friday khateeb of Zahedan’s Sunnis said in his speech at Makki masjid, “The Holy Quran is a book which contains many wonders. Who ever does not believe in this book is deprived of this divine grace, and it’s advantages even though it is such a valuable book having the best guidance and includes the best teachings regarding various walks of human life. Qur’an is the book of mercy and full of wise, being the Divine light it guides us to the Straight Path; it has mentioned all the ways of happiness and success of a person expressly or by reference.”
He added that Qur’an is the human soul and the soul of the world. Without the spirit of Qu’ran the world is nothing, in fact; every life shown glimmered in the sky world by Qu’ran. Till the time of remembering of Almighty God, this universe will be existing but as soon as it is lost so nothing will have right to live in this universe because of not losing it’s so every verse of the Qu’ran carries a message for us.
Sheikh went on referring to the first verses of Surat Enfitar and said, “These verses tell us about the end of the universe and the coming days ahead of us as Allah says in another place: “وفتحت السماء فكانت أبوابا”, [The sky was opened and became doors] and the angels and God Almighty will come down as it is fit for Him, the account will be taken by Allah and many other accidents will happen in these hours of life of this world which can not be estimate by the minds, God says: “وإذا الكواكب انتثرت”, [When the Stars are scattered;] the stars will fall down and they will lose their light, the solar and lunar system will be finished in the world, as Allah says, “إذا الشمس كورت” [When the sun (with its spacious light) is folded up] and also Oceans, mountains and trees will end. Almighty God says: “وإذا البحار فجرت” [When the Oceans are suffered to burst forth]; And the transformation of the land will change to another land, the world to another world, and all will be in front of God in order to be accounted about their deeds in the ground of gathering (Hashr).
The great Sunni leader went on, reciting: “علمت نفس ما قدمت وأخرت”, [(Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back] indicates that all these shifts and changes in the boot is preparation for the account. The recited verse means that after death every person will come to know what ever he or she did good, good and bad deeds, because each and every thing has been registered by Angels [کراما کاتبین], (the respected writers). It has been interpreted by some scholars that the meaning of God’s words, “and delayed” he will know what he has left behind like good deeds, revival of the Sunnahs, expenditure, charity and offspring righteous.”
Maulana Abdul Hameed further said that on that day, every person will feel sorry the loss of good deeds such as prayers, Zakat, fasting, Hajj and why he did not train his children regarding Islamic rules. Issues are the best wealth for parents if they train them best.
He added: “God has addressed the rights in the last of Suora the human and asks about his negligence of the Hereafter, Allah says: [ياأيها الإنسان ما غرك بربك الكريم] “O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?” Has money reduced you or descent so you forgot the Hereafter and Quran and the judgment day and you do not feel so? As you turned your face to that who has not created you from scratch. It should be mentioned, the biggest blessing of God is our creation. Man was created in the moderate shape, which does not exist in other creatures. Thus no one should be deceived by his life in the world, nor be complacent with its money and pleasures, every one must prepare himself for the coming hours, with faith and righteous deeds.”
Sheikh went on and said that it is injustice to use God’s gifts and enjoy the beauty of nature but knowing and enjoying all these things still we forget the great photographer and creator of such beautiful and wonderful aspect. But all these graces – and the most important grace is the Holy Quran and the Prophet (PBUH), who is a mercy to all people and second is Islam which was revealed to His Messenger – for steering us; asking us for saying thanks to Him. We have to thank God for this complete religion which is the burner of all religions; this is the largest dignity of all human beings. Almighty God said: [ومن يبتغ غير الإسلام دينا فلن يقبل منه وهو في الآخرة من الخاسرين] “Who chooses a religion except Islam; it will never be accepted…” Then we are firm on this religion till Qiyamah.
