The most influential Iranian Sunni scholar urged on providing due rights of ethnic and religious communities. He termed any kind of excuse in this regard \u2018unacceptable\u2019.
\nThe official website of Shaikh Abdol-Hamid reported, talking to the participants of a graduation ceremony in Sarbuk town of Qasarqand district, Iranian Baluchistan on Wednesday evening (11th Oct.), he said: \u201cThe legal rights of the Sunni community should be pursued by everyone including Ulama, academians, elites, MPs and other officials. Praise be to Allah, it has been continuing via different channels.\u201d
\n\u201cThe rights of ethnic and religious communities should be realized. The important issues of unity and security can be obtained by providing all their due rights. The supreme leader has also urged on all authorities to avoid discrimination between Shias and Sunnis in his recent historical order,\u201d the president of Darululoom Zahedan further said.
\nHe said: \u201cBefore this important order, many officials used to ignore us on the pretext that some organizations and authorities did not allow us; now no excuse can be accepted after the clear order of the supreme leader as the most authorized man in the country. If any official person brings excuses, we will consider him a slacker.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nIn another part of his speech in the graduation ceremony of No\u2019man bin Thabit Seminary of Sarbuk, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid alluded to the crisis of Myanmar Muslims and said: \u201cThe incidents take place in Myanmar against Muslims are really shocking and intolerable. Unfortunately, some Muftis and scholars who claim to be Muslims consider Myanmar Muslims guilty and blamable.\u201d
\n\u201cIt is regrettable there is no any suitable way to go to Myanmar and help the oppressed Myanmar Muslims. Otherwise I\u2019d take you with myself and would go to Myanmar for saving Muslims. We are ready even to sacrifice our souls in this way,\u201d Mawlana Abdol-Hamid underlined.
\nThe Sunni religious leader clarified: \u201cI have thought about the ways to reach Myanmar and even studied the map of this country; but there some other countries between us and we cannot reach over there with enough facilities.\u201d
\n\u201cBut we have asked Muslim states and human rights organizations to strive for saving Myanmar Muslims. Also we demand Muslims of other countries to take steps for protecting Rohingya instead of killing each other,\u201d he concluded his points.<\/p>\n
