Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid called on parents to give more importance and attention to the education and upbringing of their children.
\nTalking to thousands of worshipers in Zahedan city on Friday 9th March, 2017, he said: \u201cAll human beings have some responsibilities in this world, but the responsibilities of Muslims are heavier and more than others. Our problems will be resolved if we carry out our duties and fulfill the responsibilities well.\u201d
\n\u201cIt is regrettable that most of the treaties, duties and commitments are violated in today\u2019s world; it is one of the biggest problems of the human society in our era,\u201d he added more.
\nKhateeb and Friday imam of Sunnis went on to say more: \u201cOne of the divine duties on the shoulders of people, especially Muslims, is to save their selves and family members from the Fire and divine punishment. The believers have a heavy duty in this regard and they should draw appropriate plans to protect their families.\u201d
\nHe termed \u201cacting upon the Qur\u2019an and Sunnah\u201d the only way for salvation and said: \u201cA man can get rid of the Fire by acting on the directions of the Qur\u2019an and Sunnah and getting away from the sins and temptations of the self. Allah has bestowed us the best religion, book and prophet. It is the sign of ignorance if we are not proud of the Qur\u2019an and Sunnah of the prophet, peace be upon him.\u201d
\n\u201cAwake your children for the prayers. Bring them up on the method of the Last Messenger, peace be upon him. Acting on the Sunnah and method of the prophet PBUH should be accustomed and common at our homes and lives. There should not anything more important for us than worshiping Allah,\u201d Shaikh Abdol-Hamid underlined.
\nHe pointed out to the importance of educating children and said: \u201cReconsider your life and your children\u2019s. Plan and invest on their education. Your children should admit in seminaries and universities and get specialization. Your main wealth is your children. Take them close to yourself and do not allow them to be close with the addicts and criminals.\u201d<\/p>\n
Alluding to the annual gathering of Sunni students of Iran at Darululoom Zahedan, Mawlana Abdol-Hamid asked the audience to make du\u2019a for the students of Madrassas and universities. He said: \u201cStudents (of Madrassas and universities) are among the best classes of the society. What a great activity is learning and getting knowledge!\u201d
\nHe termed \u201cpiety\u201d and \u201cknowledge\u201d the two pivots of prosperity and guidance and said: \u201cPiety and knowledge are two great wings for the prosperity, guidance and advancement.
