The eminent Islamic scholar, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid termed \u2018devotion to the Households of the prophet PBUH\u2019 one of the mutual points among Islamic sects. He urged on the necessity of the preservation of Shia and Sunni sanctities.
\nTalking to tens of thousands worshipers in Zahedan city on Friday 3rd March, 2017, he alluded to the anniversary of the death of Sayyidah Fatimah al-Zahra, may Allah be pleased with her, and said: \u201cThe Last Messenger of Allah loved his daughter, Fatimah, a lot. He, peace be upon him, informed her in his last days that she would be the first from the family of Rasoulullah to join him. He PBUH also called her \u2018Sayyidah\u2019 and princess of women in the Paradise.\u201d
\n\u201cAll children of the prophet, peace and prayers be upon him, have high virtues, but the virtues and level of Sayyidah Fatimah are higher than her siblings. She beard a striking similarity to her father, peace be upon him, in looking and morals,\u201d he added more.
\nKhateeb and Friday Imam of Sunnis in Zahedan pointed out to the status of Ahl-ul-Bait at Ahl-us-Sunnah and said: \u201cSunni Muslims have devotion to all children and family members of the prophet, peace be upon him, and this love is a part of their faith. Sunnis love the Households as they love the Companions of the prophet; because some of the Households of the prophet PBUH were companions of the prophet, too.\u201d
\n\u201cRespect for the Households of the messenger of Allah is a part of our religion. The one who shows a little disrespect to the Households is out of Ahl-us-Sunnah. A real follower of the way of the prophet PBUH never disrespects his family members. If you conduct a survey, you may find the names of the Households among the Sunni community more than the Shia community,\u201d he underlined.
\nCalling on Muslims to be vigilant, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid stated: \u201cToday the enemies look up opportunities to create disputes among Muslims. So Shia and Sunni dears should be vigilant to not load the barrel of the enemy’s gun by bringing the plots of the enemies into action. The respect of Sahabah and Ahl-ul-Bait should be preserved.\u201d
\n\u201cDisputes among Muslim sects are against the benefits of all; such differences damage Islam. We witness how the internal differences have brought the enemies of Islam in some Muslim states. A community took the reign of Iraq and marginalized the other sides, then disputes were erupted and now they have been suffering. The same problem was in Syria and Yemen. They neglected the due rights of minorities and brought crises in their countries,\u201d the rector of Darululoom Zahedan emphasized.
\nHe said more: \u201cThe critical situation of the crisis-hit states is a lesson for us. Shia and Sunni communities should tolerate each other in the country. We should not mix up political issues with religious issues.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nIn another part of his speech before thousands of Sunni worshipers in the southeastern city of Zahedan, Mawlana Abdol-Hamid criticized the obstruction of the eastern borders of Iran with Pakistan and Afghanistan for common citizens and said: \u201cThe borders are opportunities for any country. The closure of borders is a blunder. They should be open and managed correctly. Trade transition is one of the best usages of the borders.\u201d
\nCriticizing \u2018monopolization\u2019 of trades at borders, Khateeb of Zahedan said: \u201cIt is wrong to hand over the trade at borders to some particular individuals who enjoy the support of specific organizations and offices; they just believe in monopolization of trades at the mutual borders. Transit of diesel in the previous method was better than the present one as now particular people can benefit from this trade and the rest of people suffer from poverty.\u201d
\n\u201cWe demand the authorities to activate \u2018Sistan Free Zone\u2019 as soon as possible at the borders of Iran-Afghanistan. It is an opportunity and we should utilize it to reduce poverty in the province,\u201d Shaikh Abdol-Hamid underlined.<\/p>\n
\nIn a part of his speech, the Hadith teacher of Darululoom Zahedan warned over the trade of narcotics and urged: \u201cTrade and use of narcotics and illicit opium drugs are very dangerous; it is a fatal poison that threats the human and Islamic society.\u201d
\n\u201cThe Shari\u2019ah law prohibits the trade and use of narcotics; it is not a political subject, rather it is a juridical issue related to the tenets. Most of the kidnaps, addictions and social problems have a connection with illicit opium drugs. Those who farm opium poppy should plant and farm other things like wheat and cotton,\u201d the prominent Sunni scholar pointed.
\nHe also alluded to the \u2018Arboriculture Day\u2019 in Iran, and called on the audience to protect the natural resources, trees and forests. He also encouraged people to revive the good tradition of arboriculture.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
