Pointing out to the responsibilities of Muslims, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid termed \u2018reformation of society\u2019 the main attribute of the Muslim nation. He was talking to thousands of worshipers in Zahedan city of Iran.
\nThe official website of the office of Mawlana Abdol-Hamid reported the sermon of him delivered on Friday 24th Feb. 2017.

This nation has been dispatched to benefit the people around the world.\u201d<\/em>
\n\u201cAlthough the nation of Bani-Isra\u2019il (sons of Isra\u2019il) was the favorite nation of its time, but the Muslim nation is the best nation until the last day of this world. Muslims imitate the best prophet and worship Allah better than others,\u201d he added more.
\nThe rector of Darululoom Zahedan further said: \u201cFaith and good deeds are the other prominent attributes of the Muslim Ummah. This nation gives importance to iman\/faith more than any other nation. Although they carry out good deeds in accordance with their faith and rulings of the prophet Mohammad, peace be upon him.\u201d
\n\u201cThe prophets of the past nations used to lead people in the political and religious issues. But the Muslim nation is supposed to guide people in all aspects of life. They should be good and struggle to enjoin others to be good, too. Muslims are reformists who should work hard to uproot evil and bad deeds,\u201d Shaikh Abdol-Hamid underlined.
\nThe prominent Hadith teacher of Darululoom Zahedan said: \u201cThe members of Muslim nation should work hard to reform the society and forbid people from bad activities and evil. This is the main attribute of Muslims on other nations. We can be happy for this attribute only when we carry out our duties.\u201d
\nMawlana Abdol-Hamid termed Islam a \u2018mercy for all\u2019 and said: \u201cMuslim nation should not introduce itself by terrorism and ruthless massacre to the world, because this nation is not the nation of extremism. Rather the Muslim nation has a wide viewpoint and it is a mercy for everyone in the world as the Noble Qur\u2019an introduced the Messenger of Allah a \u2018mercy for the worlds\u2019.\u201d
\n\u201cThe extremists of Shias and Sunnis should know the vision of the Muslim nation is not the viewpoint of extremism. The souls of the Messenger of Allah, Sahabah and his households cannot be happy with Muslims who are indulged in extremism. Muslim Ummah should be the reason of bliss and welfare for the whole mankind. Jihad is against arrogant tyrants not the ones who do not accept Islam,\u201d he underlined.
\nKhateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan added more: \u201cReformation of the society and the duty of enjoining towards goodness and forbidding from badness is the main responsibility of the Muslim nation. We all should have sympathy for people of different classes and strive to purify the society. We are supposed to call on the society to move towards acting upon Shari\u2019ah and good morals.\u201d<\/p>\n

In another part of his sermon, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid urged on equipping children and new generations with modern and Islamic sciences. The future relates to those who give importance to knowledge and science. There must be a comprehensive planning for educating children and admitting them in good seminaries and universities.\u201d
\nHe also called on the citizens of Zahedan to welcome President Rouhani on Tuesday where he would take part in the inaugural ceremony of gas project in Zahedan city.
