Pointing out the teachings and directions of Islam for the material and spiritual needs of mankind, Mawlana Abdol-Ghani Badri termed \u2018imitation of the soul and body from the orders of Shari\u2019ah\u2019 the secret of prosperity in the both worlds.
\n\u201cSunniOnline\u201d reported, Mawlana Badri has said in the sermon of Jan. 06, 2017 in Zahedan: \u201cThere are two kinds of divine blessings; the material and spiritual ones. As human beings are the combination of two material and spiritual elements, the blessings are divided into the same categories.\u201d
\n\u201cAllah Almighty has drafted for the body and soul of mankind separately. The body is earthly; Allah addresses mankind: \u2018Allah created you from dust; 35:11\u2019. Thus the nurture and upbringing of human beings is by the earthly things. The earth with its all blessings and resources is under the control of human beings,\u201d he added more.
\nThe educational vice-rector of Darululoom Zahedan underlined on the spiritual aspect and said: \u201cAllah Almighty has planned for the sprit, too. As the soul is connected with the upper universe, the Almighty has drafted plans for its nurture and upbringing. Soul is very soft and sensitive and its food is soft, too.\u201d
\n\u201cAs the rain showers from the sky for the body, mercy showers for the soul, too. In the Hadiths, prophets have been likened to clouds who shower on people and make shadow by the divine message, knowledge and piety,\u201d the interim Friday imam of Sunnis pointed out.
\nAlluding to a famous Hadith on the topic, he said: \u201cThe Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, has made it clear how he could bring guidance for human beings; he PBUH said: \u2018The guidance and knowledge with which Allah has sent me are like abundant rain which fell on a land. A fertile part of it absorbed the water and brought forth profuse herbage and pasture; and solid ground patches which retained the water by which Allah has benefited people, who drank from it, irrigated their crops and sowed their seeds; and another sandy plane which could neither retain the water nor produce herbage. Such is the similitude of the person who becomes well-versed in the religion of Allah and receives benefit from the Message entrusted to me by Allah, so he himself has learned and taught it to others; such is also the similitude of the person who has stubbornly and ignorantly rejected Allah’s Guidance with which I have been sent\u2019.\u201d
\nMawlana Badri called on the worshipers to focus on spirit and said: \u201cPeople mostly try to find the diseases of their bodies, it the same way they should strive to discover their spiritual diseases such as infidelity, hypocrisy, paganism, hatred, greed, lie and etc. and eliminate them.\u201d
\n\u201cThe worships which are related to the body play a key role in the spiritual nourishment of mankind. We should pay attention to the financial worships, too. In the Noble Qur\u2019an the Sublime has mentioned the duty of offering prayers along with paying Zakah in 62 places together; it shows the importance of the financial worships,\u201d he further said.
\nConcluding his points, the prominent Hadith and Tafseer teacher of Darululoom Zahedan said: \u201cThe divine law is the only safe and intact law for the body and soul of mankind.
