Here it comes, the gracious guest of the year, knocking on the doors of time, after our longing to it and maybe, similarly, it\u2019s longing to us. It is here to sweep the burdens of our life from our souls and to spread faith and calmness in our hearts. It comes to expand and distribute everywhere – with its two soft hands – its touches of mercy and showers of forgiveness. It is here to pat on the trembling feared hearts, feared out of their sins\u2019 consequences, and to erase the winds of disobedience from the universe replacing them with breezes from paradise. It arrives to implant in our souls the flowers of hope and comfort in a bright future, a future that is enlightened with the glow of pietism and wishful desire in the Merciful paradise. It is the guest of the year\u2026It is Ramadan.
Ramadan is the month of scriptures. The light of faith in the hearts of believers, where \u201cthe scriptures of Ibrahim were sent in the first night of Ramadan, the Torah was sent down after six days (of Ramadan), the Gospel after thirteen days (of Ramadan), the Az-Zabur after eighteen days (of Ramadan) and the Qura\u2019an after twenty four days of Ramadan\u201d [Declared Hasan by Al Albany]

It is certainly the month of guidance, it is: \u201cThe month of Ramadan [is that] in which was revealed the Qur\u2019an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion.\u201d [Surah Al-Baqarah 2:185]

Ramadan is always accompanied with \u2013 in addition to the glorious Qur\u2019an – a lot of basics for our revived hearts and bounty of methods for their guidance in order to protect them from all evil. The best season for obedience is available in this month. It is found in a night, when the hearts of the humbles and the meek compete and race during this night wearing themselves out in prayers and praise, as this is the best night ever waited for by every believer: \u201cA Night better than a thousand months, whoever is deprived of its welfare is disadvantaged\u201d [Narrated by Abu Huraira and declared authentic by Al Albany]

Ramadan paves our path to paradise and guides us to its doors, protects us from the calamities and misfortunes of our way and then opens for us \u201cTherein doors of heaven are opened and doors of hell are closed\u201d [Narrated by Abu Huraira and declared authentic by Al Albany]

As a result thereof, the flocks of fair women sparkle in the eyes of the piety believers, and the latter rushes towards them. The most pleasing, during this month, is the sustaining hope in the believers\u2019 hearts to see Allah, All Mighty. Don\u2019t you like to see your Lord\u2019s Face and feel the sublimity of His countenance reflecting on your skin, blessed and glorious All Mighty Face?!
Oh believer:
Are you not afraid of hell? Do you not fear its agony and horrors!! Can you imagine one day like a day in Ramadan, or one night like its nights?
During this month, you have a continuous relationship with your Lord, Blessed and Exalted. All what you have to do is to call Him, and he shall accept your repentance and shall accomplish your appeals. How precious would be the reward at the end of the month for whom who tended to obey their Lord…
It is the crown of forgiveness, which is the dream of every humble believer as well as the sinner. It is the greatest remit granted from Allah to His fasting slaves. “The five daily prayers, Friday to Friday, and Ramadan to Ramadan make atonement for what has happened in between, as long as the kaba\u2019er (major sins) are avoided” [Narrated Muslim]

It is your choice\u2026 It is your test which result is hanged on the door to Ard Al-Mahshar (the land of assembly), and this result consists of only two outcomes: either believer or hypocrite\u2026 So, \u201cNo better month has come to the Muslims better than Ramadan, and no worst month has existed for the hypocrites than Ramadan. That is because the believers prepare themselves for great worships, and the hypocrites prepare themselves to hunt others\u2019 sins and defects which is considered a prey for them. Every person receives Ramadan in the way his soul imposes on him. Anyone who likes his desires hates this month because he hates anything that would prevent him from fulfilling his desires, so he sells the worship to Allah the Exalted in exchange for his desires, Allah forbids.
Ramadan is the month where one day of fasting equals an incompatible gain “Anyone who fasts one day for Allah\u2019s pleasure, Allah will keep his face away from the fire of Hell by (a distance covered by a journey of) seventy years” [Narrated Muslim and Abou Said]

And anyone who breaks his fast one day without an excuse is a great loss for him \u00abwhoever breaks his fast one day in Ramadan without neither being ill nor with a valid excuse, then fasting his whole lifetime will not be sufficient in exchange to this day \u2013 that is if he is able to fast (his lifetime)\u00bb [Narrated Abu Huraira]

This is Ramadan, oh believer. It is not like any other month. It is the month of blessing, where you will be overwhelmed by Allah\u2019s mercy, where your sins will be dropped and your praise will be fulfilled. Allah will observe your competing during this month and boasts you to His angels. So show Allah the best out of you – as the miserable ones will be deprived from Allah mercy \u2013 and raise your voice, with which you recited the verses of the holy Qur\u2019an of Exalted Allah, and say \u00abOh seeker of good approach and seeker of evil restrain\u00bb [Narrated Abu Huraira and declared authentic by Al Albany]
