The policy of regional countries and the interventions of some international powers in the current crises of the Middle East have intensified the disputations and distance between various Muslim countries.
\nIn the meantime, some of the dependent media outlets in Iran have been striving to misinterpret the stances of Mawlana Abdol-Hamid over the ongoing events in the Middle East in accordance with their own desires. While his viewpoints are quite clear which have been frequently presented through various tribunes as well as they have been reflected in media.
\nMawlana Abdol-Hamid, the Friday Imam of Sunnis in Zahedan and one of the leading scholars and experts in the region, believes that the phenomenon of extremism, Takfeer and terrorism is extremely dangerous. There must be a serious struggle with foresight and correct planning against extremism.
\nHe believes war and military operations cannot be working methods of fighting against these phenomena in any way. Rather, the intervention of \u2018super powers\u2019 of the world makes the situations more critical, and it will end up with more instability, terrorism and suicide attacks from the region to all over the world. The incidents took place in Paris as well as the crash of a Russian airplane in Egypt proved it.
\nThe rector of Darululoom Zahedan has repeatedly warned on the consequences of military intervention in the Muslim countries and pointed out that the air strikes of the world powers have been massacring the people in some countries like Iraq, Syria and Yemen with fatal weapons; the people have been forced to leave their houses.
\nThe prominent and well-known Sunni scholar of Iran always considers the political options as the best and safest way to get rid of the current crises in the Middle East. He thinks \u201cnegotiation\u201d, \u201cdialogue\u201d, \u201cnational reconciliation\u201d, \u201cformation of comprehensive and transitional governments\u201d, \u201cindependence of Palestine\u201d, \u201cstop of air strikes by foreign governments\u201d and \u201cestablishing new constitution that might fulfill the demands of people in the crisis-hit countries\u201d. He believes that the extremism and insecurities in the region must be restrained by policy, tact and proper planning.
\nHe insisted on the need of formation of transitional governments in the crisis-affected countries in proportion to their population. A state that can represent all factions and groups including Islamists, liberals and etc. whether they are Shias, Sunnis, Christian, Alawites, religious or secular figures.
\nEmphasizing on the necessity of \u201cfighting with the cause rather than the effect\u201d, Mawlana Abdol-Hamid always terms the current crises the \u2018effects\u2019 of some reasons. He believes that the current powers are fighting with the \u2018effects\u2019 instead of the \u2018causes\u2019; while the war on effect is much more expensive and at the same time ineffective and endless.
\nSince Mawlana Abdol-Hamid \u2013a part from the Muslim\u2013 is the well-wisher of everyone; he takes into account the interests of the entire world. He believes if the crises in the Middle East are supposed to be resolved through feelings instead of tact and wisdom, not only the Muslim countries will be damaged but the whole humanity in the world will be affected.
\nA summary from the stances and views of Mawlana Abdol-Hamid was mentioned above in order to inform the media to not relate their desired viewpoints to him. Some media men have been distorting his words, especially regarding the issues of Syria.<\/p>\n
