Shaikh Abdol-Hamid urged on execution of Islamic commands and termed \u2018usury\u2019 one of the biggest sins as usurers declare war with Allah.

Taking interest was an ordinary issue, but the Almighty declared it illegal and Haram with strongest words; it is declaration of war with Allah Almighty that has hardest punishments.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is regrettable that usurious deals and bargains have been spread in the current century too. All are involved directly or indirectly in interest as a saying of the Prophet, peace be upon him, suggests that if you avoid usury but cannot remain safe from its haze and steam.\u201d<\/p>\n
The eminent Islamic scholar added more, \u201cWhen we turn the pages of the Qur\u2019an and sayings of the beloved prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, we realize well that usurious trades are very dangerous and critical. It is such a nefarious sin that is much more awkward than raping unmarriageable women, may Allah protect us.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cAccording to the Noble Qur\u2019an, usurers \u2018will not stand (on the Day of Resurrection) except like the standing of a person beaten by Satan leading him to insanity\u2019; [2: 275]. Thus all Muslims must avoid usury and Riba.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThe biggest rationality is exercising the teachings of the Noble Qur\u2019an and Sunnah. We should remain away from what have been forbidden in the Noble Qur\u2019an. We can be prosperous in the both worlds by Shari\u2019ah. Today\u2019s Muslims are the victims of their misdeeds and sins,\u201d the rector of Darululoom Zahedan further said.<\/p>\n
He called on all Muslims particularly traders and bankers to avoid usurious treaties as the views of both Shia and Sunni scholars do not differ in this case. So banks also should pay attention to the religious restrictions.<\/p>\n
Insulting Under Flag of Freedom of Speech Irrational, Unwise<\/strong><\/p>\n Denouncing repeated insult of the Islamic sanctities in Western papers, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid put insulting by the name of freedom of speech \u2018irrational and unwise\u2019.<\/p>\n Talking to tens of thousands worshippers in Zahedan, Iran, Khateeb of Sunnis criticized the statement of the British PM and said, \u201cI was amazed when I read the statement of the British PM, David Cameron, on the insulting Islamic sanctities; he has stated that he cannot stop insults saying: “In a free society people have to be free to offend each other.” The British prime minister told a TV network that he is a Christian and if he hears something offensive about Jesus, though he will find that offensive, he doesn’t have the right to wreak vengeance against them.\u201d<\/p>\n The prominent Islamic scholar recorded his reaction to the statement of the British PM and said, \u201cWhat kind of freedom of speech is this that allows you to insult others\u2019 sanctities and offend others?! This freedom of expression is against wisdom and rationality. Absolute freedom is not legal in any condition; there must be some limits.\u201d<\/p>\n Addressing the Western rulers and leaders, he said, \u201cYou claim to fight with terrorism and extremism, on the other hand you don\u2019t stop insult of the Noble Qur\u2019an and beloved prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, that is insult to the sanctities of 1.7 billion Muslims. We believe insulting the prophets Jesus, Moses, Abraham, Muhammad and all other prophets is an offense to all Muslims.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cYou call on the people of the world to support you in so-called \u2018war on terror\u2019 and extremism, but practically you step towards boosting terrorism. You propel peaceful people towards extremism and terrorism. If someone hears his honor offensive, the man will attack on the offender even if he is weak. Offending the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, is much heavier and a bigger crime in the view of Muslims,\u201d the rector of Darululoom Zahedan added more.<\/p>\n He underlined, \u201cIf somebody has any claim, instead of insulting and disrespecting by caricature he should express his view in the frame of logic and reasoning objectively. It is the correct freedom of speech and civilization; abusing, insulting and lie cannot be justified under the flag of democracy and freedom of speech.\u201d<\/p>\n
