He lived a life that was devoted to the lives of others,\u201d Governor Abiola Ajimobi told Nigeria\u2019s The Guardian, describing the death of Alhaji Alao as tragic.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201cIt is indeed the end of an era for us in Ibadan and Nigeria in general,\u201d the governor added.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The news of Arisekola-Alao\u2019s passing away was first reported by his eldest daughter, Khadija, who confirmed his death to the News Agency of Nigeria.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">According to OnIslam.net correspondent, the highly revered Muslim leader passed away in London.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">He was the Deputy President General of the NSCIA, and the Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland until his death.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Governor Ajimobi described the late Alhaji Arisekola-Alao as a devout Muslim, shrewd businessman and a philanthropist.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201cUncle Arisekola-Alao was an upright, consistent and principled man.
