In his first stay, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid went to Damen, Iranshahr, to visit Mawlana Nadhar-Muhammad Didgah, a prominent Sunni scholar in Baluchistan. He has been ill for some weeks. Then, he attended a graduation ceremony of \u201cAzmanabad\u201d town near Iranshahr. After announcing the names of female graduates, Shaikh presented a golden speech and concluded the ceremony by praying to Allah the Almighty.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cEspakkah\u201d and \u201cLaashar\u201d were the next stops of Shaikh-ul-Islam and his retinues in the southern part of the Iranian Baluchistan. Talking to hundreds of local residents, he shed light on the life and sacrifices of the Companions, may Allah be pleased with all of them. He said, \u201cThere is no any book like the Noble Qur\u2019an and also the perfect religion of Islam is peerless. Sahabah, the Companions, sacrificed their lives, wealth and calm to defend Islam and Muslims spreading the message of Allah in the world.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Khateeb of Sunnis termed the overall condition of the region \u2018positive\u2019 and thanked the people over \u2018vigilant\u2019 participation in the presidential election. He expressed his hope the crisis of unemployment would be finished and the stance of discrimination would change to a wider sight in the country.<\/span><\/p>\n

Shaikh-ul-Islam in the meeting of Sunni rectors<\/span><\/strong>
On Sunday, 24 Nov. Shaikh Abdol-Hamid reached to Chabahar city to take part in the scheduled meeting of the Sunni seminaries\u2019 rectors. The meeting was kicked off officially at 9 am in the prominent seminary of Haramayn Sharifayn. The chairman of the CCSS announced Mawlana Chabahari as the head of the meeting. Chairing the meeting, he welcomed the guests and termed the gathering of scholars much greater and better than political meetings.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the first session, inspectors of the Coordination Council for Sunni Seminaries presented their reports on the academic and environmental situations of the member seminaries. <\/span><\/p>\n

For his part, the rector of \u201cAin-ul-Uloom\u201d Gosht, Saravan and GS of the Coordination Council said, \u201cThe council has been set up to create the sense of competition among the rectors, teachers and students of the seminaries. This establishment was on the bases of sincerity.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Shaikh Muhammad Yousuf Hussein-pour further said seeking the pleasure of Allah Almighty and serving the religion should be the main ambition of the rectors. They should decrease their personal activities focusing more on different academic and cultural activities.<\/span><\/p>\n

The chairman of the Coordination Council for Sunni Seminaries was the next speaker; he urged on the unity of scholars and said, \u201cSolidarity and trust among the scholars are the blessings of Allah. Despite continuous efforts of the enemy to break this unity, all praises due to Allah, the scholars have not lose their unity.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

He pointed as \u2018unity\u2019 was a blessing and a positive point; on the other hand, \u2018contention\u2019 is a bad and unwanted thing. It is a fire that burns everything including piety; the beloved prophet, peace be upon him, mentioned contention as \u2018abrasive\u2019. People do not accept disputes among scholars; they have sympathy for their scholars trying to follow their instructions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan stated the independence of the religious schools as one of the other blessings of Allah which is the fruit of scholars\u2019 unity. The owners of the seminaries in Sistan-Baluchistan underlined they do not depend on any particular party, wing or power anywhere.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alluding to the appointment of the new governor and executive director of the Chabahar Free Trade\u2013Industrial Zone, who is a local Baluch manager, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said, \u201cThanks to solidarity of the scholars, we are witnessing positive changes in the country, particularly in the province (Sistan-Baluchistan). We hope a number of problems will be resolved soon on different levels.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

At the end of the meeting, some suggestions were examined and after consultation; some of them were approved and handed over to the rectors for implementation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Shaikh Ab. Hamid among the students of Chabahar<\/span><\/strong>
On Sunday evening, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid had a meeting with the students and teachers of universities and schools of Chabahar in Masjid of Abu-Bakr As-Seddiq, may Allah be pleased with him.<\/span><\/p>\n

First, Abdol-Waheed Baranzahi, a student of the International University of Chabahar, welcomed Shaikh-ul-Islam representing the students of Chabahar.<\/span><\/p>\n

Talking to hundreds of academians, he said, \u201cIslam is the religion of sobriety and moderation; unfortunately some Muslims have left the middle way and gone to the extremes. The prophet of this unique religion called on all to avoid extremes and be sober; doubtlessly Tawhid is the correct and middle path.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The eminent Sunni Imam mentioned the phenomenon of nudity and immorality the \u2018ignorance of the modern era\u2019 and said, \u201cThe modern ignorance disguised itself in the shape of fashion and advertising. For example, veil (Hijab) is the chastity of women; this honor of them has been attacked in media sources, hotels and shopping malls. Islam made women respectful and honorable by Hijab; they can get education with cover and Hijab freely.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

He pointed out to the recent political changes in the Middle East, saying Muslims can rule on the world if they are equipped with the knowledge of the modern world as well as the Noble Qur\u2019an and Sunnah. By good attitude, morals, purity and respect Muslims can take part in the fate of their countries.<\/span><\/p>\n

Addressing the students, Shaikh-ul-Islam said, \u201cNever forget to get both the modern and Islamic sciences; with the aim of serving learn the Noble Qur\u2019an. The upcoming generation awaits your arrival. Do not miss congregations for prayers and Friday sermons, religious gatherings and be pious in universities. Besides, work hard to get specialization in different subjects and sciences.\u201d<\/span>
