{"id":3251,"date":"2013-12-25T15:54:49","date_gmt":"2013-12-25T15:54:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost\/wp3\/?p=3251"},"modified":"2013-12-25T15:54:49","modified_gmt":"2013-12-25T15:54:49","slug":"sunni-cleric-with-relatives-sentenced-to-imprisonment-death-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sunnionline.us\/english\/2013\/12\/25\/3251\/","title":{"rendered":"Sunni Cleric with Relatives Sentenced to Imprisonment, Death"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: small; color: #000000;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"caption\" src=\"images\/stories\/news3\/molana-naghshbandi-0.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" title=\"Mawlana Naqshbandi is Friday Imam of Rask, Baluchistan in Iran\" align=\"right\" \/>The Revolutionary Court of Zahedan, Iran, has finally sentenced Mawlana Fathi Muhammad Naqshbandi, his son and four other relatives after 20 months.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>  <!--more-->  <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: small; color: #000000;\">\u201cSunniOnline\u201d quoted \u201c<em>Campaign of Baloch Activists<\/em>\u201d, the court found the Sunni scholar and his relatives \u2018guilty\u2019 in the assassination case of a local pro-regime cleric, Mostafa Jangizahi. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: small; color: #000000;\">The report suggests Mawlana Fathi Muhammad Naqshbandi has been sentenced to 15 years imprisonment and exile in Khalkhal, more than 2,200km away from Zahedan, Molawi Abdul-Ghaffar Naqshbandi was sentenced to 13 years imprisonment and exile to an unknown place, while \u2018Nizamuddin Mullazadeh\u2019, \u2018Malek-Muhammad Aabadian\u2019 and his son \u2018Jaaber Aabadian\u2019 and &#8216;Jawad&#8217; have been sentenced to death by hanging.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-size: small; color: #000000;\">The possible sentences of two other detained relatives of Mawlana Naqshbandi are unclear yet. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: small; color: #000000;\">The prominent Sunni scholar and Khateeb of Rask city, Baluchistan, has refused the edicts of the court against himself and his comrades and termed them baseless. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: small; color: #000000;\">It is notable, Mawlana Fathi Muhammad Naqshbandi, his son and five others were arrested about 20 months ago on the charge of \u2018killing\u2019 Mostafa Jangizahi; the detained men deny this accusation strongly. According to the Campaign, the family of \u201cMostafa Jangizahi\u201d has repeatedly urged Mawlana Naqshbandi was not behind the murder of Mr. Jangizahi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;
