Referring to the approaching days of the Hajj season, while inspiring Muslims to perform this important divine obligation, the most influential Iranian Sunni leader called Hajj as a symbol of the unity of the Islamic Ummah and the display of the gathering place, called Mahshar.
In the first part of his Friday speech of Zahedan, on June 24, 2022, the president of Darululoom Zahedan alluded to the status of Hajj in Islam, saying: \u201cThese days, pilgrims from all over the globe go to the Kaaba, the central place for Hajj, to perform the obligation of Hajj with love, loyalty, and passion.\u201d
The Friday prayer leader of Sunnis in Zahedan continued his speech by saying: \u201cThe Kaaba \u2018House of Allah\u2019 is the first place of worship that the Prophet Adam, peace be upon him built it under the guidance and supervision of Allah Almighty. The Kaaba is the qibla for Muslims around the world and the largest international and universal center attributed to Allah to benefit the entire world.\u201d
\u201cThe Kaaba is the central reference of all Muslims of the world until the Day of Judgment and it is a symbol of the unity of the Muslim Ummah that brings them together in one place. All mosques are places of worship, but the Kaaba is the central place of worship. The reward of a prayer, charity, and worship in the Kaaba goes up to one hundred thousand,\u201d said the eminent Iranian Sunni leader in the biggest Friday gathering of Zahedan.
\u201cThe house of the Kaaba was repaired and rebuilt by the Prophet Ibrahim, peace be upon him. Because of the prayer of the Prophet Ibrahim, peace be upon him, Allah Almighty sent the Prophet Muhammad and gave him a great Ummah\u201d, he added more.
Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid further said: \u201cAl-Safa, Al-Marwah, Al-Masjid-ul-Haram, Muzdalifah, and Mena are among the symbols of Allah Almighty and the treasures and rites of the religion of Islam. Hajj is a display of death, resurrection and the Arafat desert displays the Gathering Place. Nowhere and never a Muslim gets close to Allah as much as he\/she gets close Him in Arafat. In Arafat, when Muslims are forgiven by Allah Almighty, Satan becomes so ashamed that he has never been so embarrassed or disgraced.\u201d
\u201cHajj must be performed for the sake and the pleasure of Allah. Allah does not look at the clothes and the appearance of the pilgrim, but at his\\her heart and intention\u201d, said Mawlana Abdol-Hamid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/strong>Referring to the recent earthquake in Afghanistan, in Khost and Paktika provinces, the most influential Iranian Sunni leader noted: “Unfortunately, after a heavy rain in Afghanistan an earthquake hit this country, destroyed many houses and caused a significant damage to the people. According to the latest news, the quake killed at least more than 1,500 people and injured more than 2,000.\u201d
Emphasizing the need to help the earthquake victims of Afghanistan, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said: “Today, the dear people of Afghanistan are facing many problems and difficulties; they are in a critical situation and have asked for help. I\u2019d like to call on all for financial support to the people of Afghanistan who have affected by the earthquake.\u201d
In his last points, Imam of the Grand Makki Mosque of Zahedan said: \u201cFortunately, Zahedan Mohsenin Charity Organization has been distributing its humanitarian aid inside and outside of the country. In order to help the earthquake victims of Afghanistan, this organization calls all people to cooperate with this institute.\u201d
During Shaikh Abdol-Hamid’s speech, the Friday worshipers of Zahedan donated cash to the Mohsenin Charity Organization to help earthquake victims in Afghanistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/strong>Expressing his deep concern over increasing of economic pressures on the Iranian people and the unsolved political problems of the country, the most influential Iranian Sunni leader called on the officials to solve these problems and stressed the need to meet people\u2019s legitimate demands.
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said in the second part of his Friday speech that in order to solve the economic problems, country\u2019s policies should be reviewed and changed.
The famous Iranian Sunni leader said: \u201cIn the past, the poor and jobless people were suffering from livelihood problems, but today, all Iranian people are under severe economic pressures. Unfortunately, the country\u2019s economy has collapsed today and is out of control. Prices are rising in the morning and evening. People cannot afford to buy their basic necessities of life.\u201d
The Friday prayer leader of Sunnis in Zahedan continued his speech by saying: \u201cThe officials should see this miserable situation with a broad vision and try to solve all problems sooner.\u201d
\u201cWe see somewhere that protesters come to streets with empty tablecloths and say: we have nothing to eat. It is painful that our dear Iranian nation is hungry and is screaming for food.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/strong>Calling on the authorities to listen to the people, president of Darululoom Zahedan emphasized: \u201cOur dear officials should listen to all Iranian people and meet their legitimate demands, the voice of teachers, retirees, workers, and all classes should be heard and their due rights should be given.\u201d
The prominent Baluch Sunni scholar of Zahedan further said: \u201cThe hypocrites said that the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was an ear; Allah Almighty replied that the prophet was the best listener. In this event, Allah Almighty teaches us that authorities must listen to everyone; any authorized side who does not act like this, in fact he does not act on the way and Seerah of the prophet, peace be upon him.\u201d
\u201cAn official must be among the people, listen to their demands and views and solve their problems. Authorities should consult with academics, elites and wise people of the society,\u201d said the eminent Iranian Sunni scholar.
Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid stated: \u201cAllah Almighty has given us a great nation; the nation is the blessing of Allah. There should be no more pressure on them. Instead of imprisoning protesters, their voices should be heard and their demands must be answered.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/strong>Emphasizing on putting people first and solving their economic and political problems, the Iranian Sunnis\u2019 leader called on the authorities for a big change in policies of the country, saying: \u201cAs an Iranian citizen, as a well-wisher and as a student, I have always called on the authorities to bring changes in the foreign and domestic policies of the country.\u201d
\u201cIf the authorities are considering any priority for outside of Iran, they should know that the first priority is with the Iranian people; so the officials should put the Iranian people first,\u201d he added more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/strong>Continuing his Friday speech, Imam of the Grand Makki Mosque of Zahedan noted: \u201cI would like to advise the officials of our country and officials of neighboring countries that governance is the caliphate of Allah Almighty.\u201d
\u201cGovernance is a great capacity; in governing a country, different sects, ethnic groups and communities should be recognized. Allah is satisfied with such a caliphate. When the will of Allah is considered and the voice of everyone is heard, such a government will succeed,\u201d Mawlana Abdol-Hamid believed.
\u201cI hope that all countries, especially our neighboring new established countries will run the affairs of their country in a way that Allah is satisfied. A ruler must be a mercy of Allah. The sovereign must be as a cold shadow of Allah, not as a warm shadow,\u201d Shaikh Abdol-Hamid concluded his points.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
