{"id":1242,"date":"2011-01-27T07:51:26","date_gmt":"2011-01-27T07:51:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost\/wp3\/?p=1242"},"modified":"2011-01-27T07:51:26","modified_gmt":"2011-01-27T07:51:26","slug":"iran-dozen-sunni-citizens-detained-no-info-about-fadheli","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sunnionline.us\/english\/2011\/01\/27\/1242\/","title":{"rendered":"Iran: Dozen Sunni citizens detained, no info about \u201cFadheli\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin-left: 5px; float: right;\" alt=\"mohamad-fazeli\" src=\"images\/stories\/news\/mohamad-fazeli.jpg\" width=\"227\" height=\"196\" \/>KHORASAN- The Iranian security officials had summoned Shaikh Muhammad Fadheli, khateeb and imam of Sunnis in \u201cTaibad\u201d to the provincial capital Mashhad on late Sunday, 23 January; there is no information about his possible condition.<\/div>\n<p>  <!--more-->  <\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Following the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"News\/Ahl-al-Sunnah-in-Iran\/2448-iran-clashes-bw-sunnis-and-security-forces-over-khateebs-dismissal\">unrest incidents<\/a> on Friday 21 January in Taibad to protest the illegal dismissal of Shaikh Muhammad Fadheli, dozens of Sunni citizens were arrested by the security forces.<br \/>According to the sources of \u201cSunnionline\u201d the Iranian security forces launched a crackdown after the clashes between Sunni worshipers and members of the Intelligence Ministry and security forces in Taibad city of \u201cKhorasan Razawi\u201d province. The incident took place before Friday prayers at the grand mosque of the city.<br \/>The forces invaded on some houses and schools arresting scores of Sunni citizens mostly young. The forces took them into custody to an unknown place. Reports say the crackdown is going on in Taibad, northeast of Iran.<br \/>In an exclusive<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"Reports-Interviews\/Interviews\/2454-shaikh-ahameed-talks-to-sunnionline-over-taibads-incidents\"> interview <\/a>with \u201cSunnionline\u201d, the prominent Sunni leader Shaikh Abdul Hameed said, \u201cSince Iran got independence after the Revolution none of the Sunnis of Khorasan provinces is given a single opportunity to work in the government as a governor of any province, city or district, even as\u00a0 head of any official department, therefore their hearts are broken, just one thing had made them happy, that is their religious freedom, if they lose it too so it would be very difficult for the government to control the reactions which will upraise after these discriminative acts, thus I hope the related authorities would take care of the condition of the Sunni community and try to make them satisfied in \u201cTaibad\u201d as well as in other parts of the country.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>Source: SunniOnline.us<\/em><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KHORASAN- The Iranian security officials had summoned Shaikh Muhammad Fadheli, khateeb and imam of Sunnis in \u201cTaibad\u201d to the provincial capital Mashhad on late Sunday, 23 January;
