Mawlana Abd-us-Sattar was born at 20th Sh\u2019aban of 1365 hijri (25th Oct, 1937) in \u201cGazak\u201d village of \u201cKhash\u201d city in the southeastern province Balochistan, Iran. His father, Haybat, was a simple-hearted and pious man. He earned and provided his family halal sustenance by livestock husbandry and cultivation.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Educational life:
<\/strong>
Late Mawlana Abd-us-Sattar took admission in the primary school of \u201cSangan\u201d in 1941 where he started getting the primary education. During the school study he was in contact with the eminent Sunni A\u2019lim (scholar), he learned the elementary Islamic books from Mawlana Muhammad Eesa Mawlana Muhammad Eesa Shahnawazi, who was graduated from Darululoom Deoband (the eminent educational institution in India).
The excellent personality of\u00a0 Shaikh Muhammad Eesa impressed him, as he decided to seek Shar\u2019i education (Islamic education). Then In 1947, he went to \u201cNukundi\u201d in north of Balochistan, Pakistan in order to get more knowledge from prominent teachers and scholars like late Mawlana Abdul Hameed Nutizai.
In the same way Mawlana Abd-us-Sattar Kurd continued moving, thus to get further education he visited Sindh in 1953. He got admission in \u201cDar-ul-Huda\u201d Khayrpour, Sindh, Pakistan. Late Mawlan Kurd did not leave any stone unturned to seek profusion from the eminent and top scholars of that time such as Mawlana Abdullah Darkhwasti, Mawlana Abdul Ghani Jajrawi and Mawlana Ghulamullah Khan (may Allah mercy on them.)
Mawlana Abd-us-Sattar ending his educational journey accomplished his graduation very nicely in 1964 from \u201cDar-ul-Huda\u201d seminary of Khayrpour. He returned to his homeland after finishing Dars-e-Nidhami.
Late Mawlana Abd-us-Sattar stayed one year in \u201cSangan\u201d village of Khash city. He guided people the right path and built them a mosque in the village.
Mawlana Kurd remained in contact with his contemporary scholars like Mawlana Abdul Aziz Mullazade, Mawlana Shahdad Sarawani, Mawlana Taj Muhammad and Mawlana Muhammad Yousuf Hussein pour for bringing unanimity in their cultural, social, religious and political activities.<\/p>\n

Mawlana Abd-us-Sattar in \u201cKhash\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

When Mawlana Abd-us-Sattar was in Sangan some less educated persons were judging among the people; their wrong judgment became a problem for the residents of Khash. Besides the tribal chiefs\u2019 request to come to Khash, late Mawlana Abdul Aziz Mullazade also recommended Mawlana Abd-us-Sattar to stay in Khash. He accepted and stayed 6 years in Qasimabad quarter of Khash first. Then he shifted to the centre of Khash and remained over there till his departure from the temporary world.<\/p>\n

Natural activities of him:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Shaikh Nadhar Muhammad Didgah says about late Mawlana Abd-us-Sattar\u2019s characteristic habits, \u201cThere are many ulema having good qualities and habits but a scholar having all the good attributes rarely could be found, Mawlana Abd-us-Sattar was one of them.\u201d He was very meek as he was referring every one to the other scholars. Snobbery was his biggest enemy. He was an oriented man in generosity and hospitability.
Late Shaikh\u2019s meetings were full of joy with the perfume of Islamic knowledge and learnings. None was feeling boredom in his meetings. He tried to save himself from criticism though he was saying the right and correct clearly regardless of irritation of any body.
He used to help ulema and their family members financially and to courage others to do the same. He hated to have personal property and wealth, as when he passed away there were only 60,000 Tooman (about $ 570) in his possession.<\/p>\n

His dexterity in Fiqh, Qadha and speech<\/strong><\/p>\n

Although Mawlana Kurd was very expert in Fiqh but hardly he issued fatwa. He was master of resolving the interior disputes of masses and tribes. Before judging he used to give a lecture over the importance of Shr\u2019ia and its rulings. Frequently both sides were happy and satisfied with his judgment.
He delivered a sermon to the audience in a polite and acceptable way. Shaikh used to say to his colleague ulema (scholars) that do utilize different ways to make the right (Haq) saying sweet and attractive for the people.
No doubt that unity is the corner stone for development in every society; so the entire life of late Mawlana Abd-us-Sattar was devoted for this great purpose. Even the foundation of famous seminary \u201cMakhzanululoom\u201d by late Mawlana was for this goal, to gather scholars and unite their efforts to progress the society culturally and spiritually. In this regard he did his best to unite all Muslims of Khash to offer Eidayn and Jum\u2019a prayers in one place, almost all imams and khateebs agreed with him but before finalizing the project the days of his life finished!

Foundation of \u201cMakhzan-ul-Uloom\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Following the recommendation of late Shaikh Abdul Aziz (former khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan and a key Sunni leader), Mawlana Abd-us-Sattar Kurd decided to establish a seminary in Khash city. Mawlana Abd-ur-Rahman Shahnawazi, Mawlana Dur Muhammad Rouhani and Mawlana Muhammad Rigi were the first teachers of Makhzanululoom.
Late Mawlana Abd-us-Sattar struggled day & night to develop this institution in all aspects and dimension. Later on he founded a grand mosque (Jam\u2019a) beside the seminary.
After the death of late Mawlana Kurd, Mawlana Yar Muhammad became the head of Makhzanululoom and Mawlana Muhammad Gul was appointed \u201cMufti\u201d of the madrasa.
Late Shaikh Yar Muhammad was so diligent and pious supervisor. He established a seminary for female students by the name \u201cKhadeejat-ul-Kubra\u201d in 1978 which is a branch of Makhzanululoom Khash.
After the departure of Shaikh Yar Muhammad, Mawlana Muhammad Gul was appointed the head of Jamia. He added \u201cDar-ul-Ifta\u201d and \u201cDar-ut-Tahfeedh\u201d departments. There are more than 700 students and 40 staff personal in both seminaries.<\/p>\n

The event of demise<\/strong><\/p>\n

Death of late Mawlana Abd-us-Sattar was not estimate able, it surprised every one.
Firstly signs of a strange illness appeared on his hand. After lots of treatment he did not see heal. Finally he had to cut his wrist by surgery operation. After the operation in \u201cMasih Daneshvari Hospital\u201d in Tehran apparently was feeling well; when he was about to leave Tehran for his city suddenly while offering Fajr prayers in second unit on Friday he passed away.
He left this temporal world to the Hereafter in 2nd Rabi-ul-Awal 1415 (1994). His body was shifted to Khash where thousands of people participated in his funeral prayers. Late Mawlana Abd-us-Sattar was buried in the graveyard of Khosruabad quarter of Khash.
May Allah place him in paradise with Shuhadaa and Salehin.<\/p>\n
