Israel Committing Genocide

The most influential Iranian Sunni leader severely criticized crimes of Israel against the Palestinian people. He called cruel killings of people of Gaza “genocide” and “inhuman action”.

In the final meeting of the nationwide competition of the memorization of the Holy Qur’an in the Grand Makki Mosque of Zahedan, on Wednesday evening October 25, 2023, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid asked the international community and all governments of the world to stand against Israel’s inhumane actions.

The president of Darululoom Zahedan said: “The city of Gaza, whose population is more than two million, has been under severe bombing in brutal and cruel ways. I have never seen such an inexorable and merciless continuous bombardment in my life. So far, more than six thousand people have been martyred in this bombing. The most casualties are children and women.”

“Where is humanity? Where are those who talk about humanity and human rights? Those who say that all the people of Gaza are guilty are wrong. Those who have committed a sin from any side should be held accountable. They should not massacre and genocide a nation; this is not anger, but madness. Killing innocent and defenseless people, whether they are Muslims or non-Muslims, is not right,” the Iranian top Sunni leader added.

He continued: “We must stand against Israel, which is committing genocide and destroying Gaza. The whole world, especially the governments that have closer relations with Israel, must work to establish an immediate ceasefire.”

“A fair decision must be made. To prevent cruelty and more crime, the rights of nations must be fulfilled, and Allah Almighty should be considered,” Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said in his last points.
