Another Teacher of Darululoom Zahedan Detained

Mawlavi Amanullah Saadi, one of the teachers of Darululoom Zahedan, Iran, was arrested by the security forces on Thursday, 30 March 2023, in Chabahar.
It is said that Mawlavi Amanullah Saadi, who traveled to Chabahar after the holidays of Sunni religious schools in Sistan and Baluchistan, was arrested by the security forces in this city.
Despite the follow-up carried out by Mawlavi Saadi’s family, there is still no information about the reason of his arrest and his whereabouts.
Previously, three teachers and members of Darululoom Zahedan, Maulana Abdol-Majeed Moradzehi, Mufti Reza Rakhshani and Mawlavi Abd-ur-Rauf Rakhshani were arrested by the security forces in Zahedan. Despite the passage of more than two months, there is no accurate information about the status and fate of these three Sunni scholars until now.
Analysts of political issues believe that the arrest of Darululoom Zahedan teachers is to pressure on Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid, the president of Darululoom Zahedan, because of his anti-government criticisms and political stances.
