Prominent Teacher of Darululoom of Zahedan Passes away

Mawlana Khodarahm Lakzai Bahadori, a prominent teacher at Darululoom Zahedan, died of a heart attack in Zahedan on Sunday morning January 23. He was 69.
“SunniOnline” reported Shaikh Khodarahm was born in the northern part of the province of Sistan-Baluchistan in a village of Hamoon County in 1952.
This eminent Iranian Baloch scholar studied for several years in Jamia Uloom Islamia Banuri Town and graduated from Jamia Farooqia of Karachi. He obtained master in Arabic language and literature from the Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
In addition to teaching in seminary, he also taught at public high schools for 30 years.
Mawlana Khodarahm was the license holder and managing director of Nedaye Islam international Magazine, published by Darululoom Zahedan.
His funeral prayer was held at Darululoom Zahedan in the Grand Maki Mosque by Shaikh Abdol-Hamid, president of Darululoom Zahedan.
At his funeral ceremony, the most influential Sunni leader of Iran said: “Shaikh Khodarahm was an educated, literate, and academic scholar who had sufficient knowledge and information in various fields. He was a sincere, compassionate, and honest person whose death caused a great loss in Darululoom Zahedan.
Expressing his deep condolences with the family of the deceased, students and teachers of Darululoom Zahedan, the Friday Prayer leader of Sunnis in Zahedan advised people to be patient and ask Allah for forgiveness for him.
Mawlana Khodarahm was buried in the cemetery of Hormak in the suburb of Zahedan.
