Border Residents Deserve Interests of Borders more

Pointing out to the important role of border residents in maintaining the country’s security, the prominent Sunni scholar of Iran urged that the border provinces especially the border residents are most entitled to be benefited from the interests of the borders.
Talking to the people of Chabahar in the Friday prayer ceremony of Chabahar on Oct 29, 2021, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said: “The people of Chabahar and southern areas of Sistan-Balochistan have been enduring famine and economic hardships for years. Many people of these areas are living in poor hovels.”
He further said: “The ancestors of the people of these areas were killed in defense of this land and they had protected the country’s territorial integrity. Their standing against the Portuguese occupiers is a clear example of the resistance and endurance of these people.”
“All Iranians are indebted to the border residents who have protected the borders. Residents of borders of Balochistan have protected the southern coastal borders that connect the country to the ocean. They should be given special attention by the authorities and should not be deprived of their rights”, said the prominent Sunni scholar of Sistan-Balochistan.
He urged: “In the interests of the borders, border people should be the first beneficiary”.
“In the development of Makoran Beach, the people of Baluchistan should have fair and just rights. This is the best policy and planning”, president of Darululoom Zahedan said.

Meritocracy and implementation of justice are the demands of religious and ethnic communities
Emphasizing on meritocracy and the importance of justice, Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid said in his Chabahar speech: “Justice and meritocracy are the demands of the Iranian people, especially the Sunni community, all ethnicities and sects.”
“The qualified people of different parties and backgrounds should be given equal opportunities to serve their country. We want a real meritocracy”, said the Iranian Sunnis’ leader.
He added: “Security is very vital and important and it is in accordance with the interests of all. Unity shows rationality. Sunnis in borders always pursue unity and peace”.

Officials should take serious measures to solve the unemployment problems
The eminent Iranian Sunni leader termed “unemployment” a major issue in Sistan-Balochistan province and said: “As president Raisi traveled to Sistan-Balochistan on his second provincial trip, I hope that this province, and especially the deprived coastal areas, will receive special attention. I hope that the various water and unemployment problems of the people will be resolved”.
“Unfortunately, today the people of our country are severely deprived; poverty rules everywhere”, he believed.
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid concluded his points by saying: “To improve this situation, the authorities should take serious measures to solve these problems”.
