Do I have to remove my makeup when making wudhu?

Question
I have a question about wudu i have bats patches on my face and i wear make up to cover them and also drop my children off to school and nurseries and can i do wudu without washing my face will my pray be accepted bu Allah,

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
Sister in Islam,
There are two types of makeup. The first type is that makeup which is waterproof and creates a discernible barrier on the face. The second type is that which does not create a discernible barrier and does not prevent the water from reaching the face.
As for the first type, making wudhu over such makeup would not be permissible as it prevents water from reaching the skin. Should you choose to wear such makeup, you would be required to remove your makeup while making wudhu.
Regarding the second type of makeup, as it does not prevent water from reaching the skin, making wudhu over such makeup would be permissible. It should be borne in mind that simply dampening the face is not enough for the validity of the wudhu. Rather, one must wash the face thoroughly to such an extent that the water reaches the face.
Furthermore, it is not permissible for you to completely forgo washing your face due to the makeup, as washing the face is obligatory.[i] A person’s wudhu will remain incomplete without washing the face. Consequently, your salah will be invalid.
