Conference of Mawlana Abul-Hasan Nadawi Held at Darululoom Zahedan

The first Conference of Mawlana Abul-Hasan Nadawi on his thoughts and services for Islamic literature was held at Darululoom Zahedan inside the Grand Makki Mosque on Sunday evening January 12, 2020.

The conference was organized by Darululoom Zahedan’s Higher Education department and the Specialization Class in Arabic Literature. The secretary of the conference received dozens of articles in different subject on the life and authors of late Mawlana Ali Hasani Nadawi.

Speakers of the conference were Shaikh Abdol-Hamid, president of Darululoom Zahedan, Mufti Muhammad Qasem Qasemi, Mufti Abdol-Qader Arefi, senior teachers of Darululoom Zahedan and Mawlana Abdol-Mannan Qasemi, a guest from Afghanistan.

A recorded message of Mawlana Sayyid Rabi’ Nadawi, president of Darululoom Nadwat-ul-Ulama Lucknow was broadcasted too. He congratulated the organizers of the conference.

Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid said that the sincerity, piety and motivation of serving humanity were the reasons for the Imam Nadawi’s persistence.

The president of Darululoom Zahedan said the key to the success of the prophets, companions and the righteous ancestors was sincerity.

Mufti Muhammad Qasem Qasemi, the Grand Mufti of Sunnis in Iran considered Mawlana Nadawi as the greatest reformist of 20th century and advised students to study the books of Sayyid Abul-Hasan Nadawi.

“Piety and moderation were the main reasons for Nadawi’s success that should be brought in our lives,” he said.

Mufti Abdol-Qader Arefi the deputy chairman of Darululoom Zahedan’s Darul-Ifta said that Imam Nadawi was a moderate, pious and thoughtful thinker and Muslim figure for all generations and classes.

Mawlana Abdol-Mannan Qasemi from Afghanistan, a graduate of Darululoom Deoband, India said: “Mawlana Nadawi was a philosopher, pious, and Muhaddith who served Muslims in all fields.”

At the end of the meeting, the ten top article writers for Mawlana Abul-Hasan Nadawi’s conference were announced and awarded by Darululoom Zahedan. The articles mainly have been written in Arabic.
