Engaging Local Judges Should be Agenda of Judiciary

Maulana Nazir Ahmad Salami urged on engaging local judges by the judiciary in Sistan & Balochistan. He was talking to a meeting of Shia and Sunni Ulama held by the presence of the chief justice of Iran in Zahedan on Wednesday May 1, 2019.
SunniOnline quoted Tasnim News Agency that the representative of Sistan & Balochistan in the Assembly of Experts has said: “As UNESCO announced, people of Sistan & Balochistan enjoy the highest IQ (intelligence quotient). They want their children should be trusted and engaged in different fields.”
The Hadith teacher of Darululoom Zahedan alluded to positive consequences of appointing locals as judges and said: “Local judges remain forever in the province and they know better than anyone special situation of people’s culture, society and religious stands. So their decisions will be more accurate.”
Maulana Salami called on the chief justice to revive special civil courts for the followers of Islamic sects which is a public demand.
He said that negotiations have been conducted with the judiciary for employing locals in the judicial offices and it should be the agenda and working schedule of this department.
Sistan & Balochistan is the second biggest province of Iran with more 2.775 million population. Sunni Balochs are the dominant people of the province.
