Sh. Ab. Hamid Condemns Ml. Samiul Haq’s Assassination

Famous Iranian Sunni scholar has condemned brutal murder of Mawlana Samiul Haq of Pakistan and expressed his condolences with students, devotees and family members.
The official website of Shaikh Abdol-Hamid’ office has published the text of his statement which is as following:

By the name of Allah, the Most Kind, the Most Gracious
“We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return.”
The shocking news of timorous assassination of Mawlana Samiul Haq in Rawalpindi city of Pakistan made me and Ulama and seminaries’ rectors of Iran doleful and deeply sad.
Mawlana Samiul Haq was the son of late Mawlana Abdul-Haq who was one of the famous alumni of Darululoom Deoband and founder of Darululoom Haqqania in Akora Khattak. The people of Pakistan benefited from scientific and political services of Ml. Samiul Haq for decades. He was a proficient and moderate scholar. Standing against injustice was one of the other features of this rightful and compassionate scholar.
It is expected that Pakistani security officials will realize the sensitivity of the time recognizing and arresting Mawlana Samiul Haq’s murderers as soon as possible handing them over to justice in order to protect people’s unity and save their country from more insecurities.
I denounce this incident and express my condolences to Ulama and scholars of Pakistan, his students, colleagues, family members and all Pakistanis.
Allah Almighty has fulfilled the wish of Mawlana Samiul Haq that was death by martyrdom. May Allah increase his status in the Paradise and bestow his survivors patience and rewards.
