Shaikh Abdol-Hamid termed the response of the Supreme Leader to his letter a “historical order” which will end all “discriminations”, “law violations” and “imposing illegal laws”.
The website of the office of the Friday imam of Sunnis in Zahedan reported Shaikh Abdol-Hamid on Friday Sep. 09, 2017 alluded to his recent letter to the supreme leader Ayatollah Khamenei and his response, saying: “I had clarified in my letter to the leader of the revolution that Iranian Sunnis love their country and they have been loyal to the Islamic Republic.”
“I also pointed out to discriminations, inequalities and limitations for Sunni worshipers in some metropolises and lack of religious freedoms. I had just demanded the supreme leader to issue a distinguishing historical order to end the anxieties of every race and sect, especially the Sunni community in Iran,” he added more.
Mawlana Abdol-Hamid alluded to the response of the leader and said: “The supreme leader, in his short and meaningful message, obligated all elements of the Islamic Republic regime to avoid discriminations and differentiating between Iranians from any race, faith and sect. rather they should implement justice.”
“The supreme leader has forbidden all authorities from imposing any ethnic and religious discrimination. He has ordered the officials to behave with the Iranian nation equally and remove differences in polices,” he urged.
The most influential Iranian Sunni scholar called the letter of the supreme leader “very valuable, comprehensive and happy news” for the Iranian Sunni community. He said: “The words of the supreme leader got a vast coverage in interior and foreign media and many of them analyzed his words.”
“The leader has relayed on the religious teachings and the Constitution; according to Islam there is no difference between people of any race and faith. While the Constitution urges on equal rights of all Iranians, but regretfully many authorities avoid to implement the Constitution by the excuse that they are ‘under pressure’ and they act as their wishes,” he further said.
The rector of Darululoom Zahedan termed the message of the leader “end of discrimination and law violation”, saying: “The supreme leader has closed the door of all discriminations, law violations and imposing illegal laws. After this historical order, no excuse can be accepted from any civilian or military officials. No one can put pressure on the authorities; because the order of the first person of the state, the Constitution and as the leader said “the Islamic teachings” are standards in all affairs.”
“This historical order should be installed in all offices of the authorities and elements of the Islamic Republic in the form of a frame. This order has finished the anxieties of Iranians that will end poverty and discord which are the fruits of discrimination. It enhances national solidarity and unity. Execution of Justice brings unity better than any conference,” Shaikh Abdol-Hamid underlined.
He said: “The leader has clarified everything; nothing is unclear now. The authorities should be determined to uproot discriminations”.
Mawlana Abdol-Hamid went on pointing to the recent statement of president Rouhani about removing discrimination between Shias and Sunnis and said: “The respectable president has recently said that when Sunnis give taxes, go for military service and active in all fields, it is inappropriate to behave with them discriminately. He has denounced even those who think of discrimination.”
The Friday prayer leader said: “When our children go for military service, it is their right to be engaged as official cadre and staff in the armed forces.”

Muslim states cut their diplomatic ties with Myanmar
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid decried the crimes of the Myanmar government and forces against Muslims and said: “Regretfully the Buddhist government cruelly oppressed Rohingya Muslims. The army of Myanmar has been massacring the oppressed and defenseless Muslims.”
He termed the massacre of Rohingya “genocide” and “crime against humanity”. He said: “Massacring 3000 people within three days is very savage; it has shocked the world.”
“Killing a group of people just because they follow a different faith is cruelty and it a big crime. Muslims in the world should boycott the government of Myanmar standing together against it,” Mawlana Abdol-Hamid emphasized.
He addressed the Muslim leaders and rulers: “The Muslim states should shut down the embassies and representations of Myanmar in their countries excluding all diplomates of Myanmar.”
“The UN, Security Council and Human Rights Watch should act against Myanmar widely to forbid this country from cruelty and crimes against Muslims,” the rector of Darululoom Zahedan added more.
He concluded his points by saying: “All sides who oppose crimes and insecurity should stand against the Myanmar government. The criminal rulers of Myanmar should be given a lesson which can be a lesson for the rest criminals and oppressors of the world.”
