A prominent Islamic scholar in Iranian Baluchistan, Mawlana Mohammad Anwar Mollazahi passed away on Monday evening July 17 after suffering from serious wounds in a road accident.
“SunniOnline.us” reported Shaikh Mollazahi was shifted to Khatam-ul-Anbiya hospital of Zahedan after rollover of his car on Khash – Saravan main road. He was 83.
In this accident, his son-in-law, Molawi Abdol-Ghafour has been injured too who is at hospital for treatment.
Mawlana Mohammad Anwar was born in Kallegan village in Saravan district of Iranian Baluchistan. He got Islamic education mostly in Pakistan at Darululoom Tando Allahyar, Qasimululoom Multan and Darululoom Karachi.
He was graduated from Darululoom Karachi in 1382 Hijri (56 years ago).
Mawlana Zafar Ahmad Usmani, Mawlana Jamshid Ali, Mawlana Mousa Khan Bazi, Mufti Mohammad Shafi Usmani, Mufti Rasheed Ahmad Ludhianvi, Mawlana Saleemullah Khan, Mawlana Ghulamullah Khan, Mawlana Abdullah Darkhwasti and Mawlana Sahban Mahmoud are among the top teachers and mentors of Mawlana Mohammad Anwar Mollazahi.
He was teaching Miskhat-ul-Masabih and Sahih Muslim, two main Hadith books, at Ain-ul-Uloom Gosht, Saravan in Iran.
