Baloch Scholar Assassinated in W. Afghanistan

Molawi Salahuddin Mowahhed has been assassinated at his home on Tuesday 15th Nov. 2016 in Zaranj city of Nimruz, Afghanistan.

Local sources told “SunniOnline”, Molawi Mowahhed Baloch was assassinated by an unknown armed man at his home shortly after returning from a seminary where he used to teach.
The identity or possible motivation of the assassin is unclear yet.
Molawi Salahuddin got education at Darululoom Zahedan (Iran) and graduated from Darululoom Karachi, Pakistan. He was the rector of a female seminary in Zaranj, Khateeb and Friday imam of Madani Grand Mosque of the city and Hadith teacher at ‘Ihya-ul-Uloom’ seminary.
The martyred scholar met his teachers and mentors few days ago in Darululoom Zahedan. He was famous for his social activities and efforts for the welfare of common people.
The Hajj Ministry of Afghanistan, ‘Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’ (Taliban) and Shaikh Abdol-Hamid (the rector of Darululoom Zahedan) have denounced the incident in different statements.
