Get ready for Hereafter Life

Shaikh Abdol-Hamid urged on the importance of preparation for the Hereafter life and purification of the self in his latest Friday sermon, April 29, 2016.
Addressing the worshipers in Zahedan, southeastern Iran, he said, “A wise person takes the advantages of this mortal life for the everlasting life. We can attain light and brilliance by carrying out good deeds such as Salah, fasting, donating and other good acts.”
“The Noble Qur’an says get ready for the Hereafter by piety which is the best provision. When a person wants to travel to another city and town, he prepares fully for his journey before setting out. In the same way, we all are going to leave this world and life to the endless life that needs its provision; piety (Taqwa) is its provision,” the Friday Imam of Sunnis in Zahedan added more.
He further said, “In this world if you need the support of anyone while travelling, you may receive any help, but in the Hereafter all would leave you alone. Everyone would strive to save himself.”
“We must utilize all facilities given to us by the Almighty in this life for the Hereafter and endless life. The Noble Qur’an says ‘Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays’, he underlined.
The eminent Islamic scholar mentioned the love of life and wealth the ‘pivot’ of misdeeds and said, “Many people have been involved in the love of life and money neglecting their endless life. While the Almighty says the Hereafter is better for you than this world. As a Hadith suggests, the love of life is the main reason behind all misdeeds and sins.”

Darululoom Zahedan’s ceremony beneficial for all
In a part of his speech, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid alluded to the upcoming graduation ceremony of Darululoom Zahedan and said, “The graduation ceremony of Darululoom Zahedan is on Thursday (May 5/Rajab 27) that is beneficial for all Iranians and Muslims.”
“This ceremony is an example of unity and solidarity. I’d like to call on you to make Du’a for its acceptance and participation in the ceremony; shut down your other works and take part in the ceremony,” the rector of Darululoom Zahedan underlined.
In the last part of his sermon, Khateeb of Sunnis expressed his regret over the death of three personnel of police in Khash city of Baluchistan, apparently in an ambush attack of some armed smugglers.
