IRAN – TORBAT-E-JAAM: Mawlana Abdullah Rahimi, the rector of ‘Taleem-ul-Qur’an’ seminary of Salehabad city, Khorasan province passed away on Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015.
According to a report of SunniOnline, the official website of the Sunni community in Iran, Shaikh Rahimi passed away due to heart attack.
He was one of the great and sincere scholars of Salehabad city. He graduated from Darululoom Zahedan in 1992.
He succeeded to manage Taleem-ul-Qur’an seminary well that had experienced many ups and downs. He left unforgettable memories in the region.
The funeral ceremony of late Mawlana Rahimi was held in Salehabad city in the presence of Ulama, tribal elders, teachers and people from other classes. Mawlana Habib-ur-Rahman Motahhari, rector of Ahnaaf seminary in Khaaf city led the funeral prayers of him.
He was buried to rest in his hometown, Khakbadak village of Torbat-e-Jaam district. While shifting his body, for the second time funeral prayer was offered in Torbat-e-Jaam city.
A great number of scholars, including some teachers of Darululoom Zahedan took part in the funeral ceremony of late Mawlana Rahimi.
