The graduates gathered in Grand Makki Masjid inside Darululoom Zahedan campus
Zahedan – SunniOnline: the first regional meeting of Darululoom Zahedan’s graduates, living in Zahedan and Mirjaveh districts, has been held in Grand Makki Masjid of Zahedan, Iran, on Wednesday 28th Oct. 2015.
Hundreds of the graduates gathered in Darululoom Zahedan to meet their teachers and fellows on Wednesday morning where they listened to the sermon of Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid, the rector and Hadith teacher of Darululoom Zahedan, Mufti Qasemi, Mawlana Mohebbi and Mawlana Dr. Ubaidullah Badpa.
The office of ‘graduates’ council’ organizes such meetings for the graduates to make them in contact with their teachers.
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid underlined, “Although getting knowledge is a great blessing, but it is not only duty of us; rather Ulama should not be limited to teaching and their seminaries. We must not forget the people of different cities and villages; struggle for their reformation and edification is our main responsibility.”
For his part, Mufti Qasemi, the head of Darul-Iftaa at Darululoom Zahedan said, “Revolution in any society without the purification is impossible. By ‘reciting the Noble Qur’an’, ‘teaching the book and wisdom’ and ‘purification’ of the soul a society can experience revolution.”
Dr. Ubaidullah called on the graduates to maintain their relations with Darululoom Zahedan by different channels including media outlets like Neday Islam magazine and SunniOnline website.
In the meeting, some graduates also talked to their teachers and seminary-fellows.
