Iran’s Sunnis Can Serve Their Country Sincerely

The outstanding Iranian Sunni leader urged on the rights of Sunnis in Iran and said they can serve their country even better than many others who fled after shocking embezzlement.

Talking to tens of thousands Iranian Sunnis, gathered in Zahedan from different corners of Iran, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid Isma’eelzahi said, “Iran’s Sunnis avoid from extremes, violence and Takfeer as they believe in temperance. They like their country and Iran is their motherland not any other state. Sunnis of all provinces do not want to separate.”

“As the authorities affirm, Iran’s Sunnis protect unity and national security of their country constantly. We do not look at the issue of unity as a political matter; rather it is our belief that Muslims must be united living together peacefully. If any state respects us and does not attack our country, we will respect him in response too.”

The rector of Darululoom Zahedan further said, “We hear day and night slogans of meritocracy, but in act nothing happens. We want to see our capable men and women in key offices and posts of the country’s management and defense according to percentage of our population. We ensure all key officials, if you give us opportunity, we will not be like people who looted the country and then fled outside.”

Stop self-imposed rules on Sunnis
In another part of his speech, Khateeb of Zahedan asked the higher officials of Iran to ban on self-imposed rules and behavior of some authorities against Sunnis in different regions.

He said, “According to the Constitution, we are free to carry out our juridical acts and worship Allah as our Fiqh allows. We should not face any hesitation in this regard. There must be Masjid for Sunnis in metrololises like Tehran.”

Alluding to some misconducts with Afghan refugees in Iran, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid urged, “Afghan refugees have right of the faith and neighborhood. I would like to recommend officials, policemen and all people to avoid unjust behavior and cruelty with them. They should be free in their worships and educating their children.”

Muslim states can protect their borders by unity governments
Member of the MWL indicated to crises in some Muslim states and said, “The Muslim countries which face crises must give up struggles to gain grounds in other countries. They should establish national and mass governments realizing due rights of minorities. By parity and preserving rights of all nations, all problems would be resolved.”

Qur’an & Sunnah; the biggest wealth
In the first part of his sermon, Mawlana Abdol-Hamid termed the Noble Qur’an and Sunnah of the Last Messenger, peace be upon him, the biggest wealth for Muslims and said, “If we know the value of the Qur’an and Sunnah implementing them in our lives, Muslims would be the leaders and the most honorable people of the world.”

“It is regrettable that Muslims suffer from dangerous disputes and they have been losing all grounds. Their fate has fallen in the hands of others. There is bloodshed in Muslim states. They expect to resolve their crises by powers which are behind these problems,” he added more.

The eminent Islamic scholar among the Sunni community of Iran urged on return of Muslims towards Qur’an and Sunnah, saying, “The main reason of Muslims’ distress and turmoil is avoiding from the Qur’an and Sunnah. These crises are the results of the Almighty’s anger. We must reform our deals and Islamize our behavior in all fields.”

“There is no way but to return towards Allah, establish prayers, pay Zakah and carry out other orders of Islam. Unfortunately Muslims show negligence in acting upon divine orders of Islam. The enemies of Islam and Muslims have been targeting Muslims’ faith by satellite TV channels and websites on net; they want to spread immodesty and vice among Muslims,” Shaikh-ul-Islam underlined.

He said, “The main aim of enemies from assaulting Muslim states is swerving Islamic awakening in these countries. They want to get Muslims towards negligence and immodesty. Islam’s enemies follow their aims by slogans like ‘freedom of women’ and women’s rights.”

At the end, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid stated, “The only remedy is mass repentance towards Qur’an and Sunnah. All classes of the society must strive to preach Islamic culture. Today nations chant and demand their rights from world’s powers and governments, but people can get their all demands from Allah by submitting before orders of the Almighty.”

Also, he expressed his regret over absence of some guests who could not attend the graduation ceremony for ‘some reasons’, especially Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman, chief of Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam Pakistan, whose visa was cancelled a day before his departure.
